NBA fans help me out...are the Heat a good TEAM?

It seems like with the Indiana Pacers having a two games to one lead on the Heat, folks all over are in shock that this Miami team is getting outplayed, outgunned, and outhustled...

However, looking at the rosters, I just don't see how Miami is so much better than the Pacers as a lot of people are trying to claim...There is a reason why Jon Barry said that LeBron and Wade have to combine for 60 points a night against the Pacers for them to win...

Oh, before someone brings up Chris Bosh, I'll throw a couple of things at you...One, how much was he a factor in Game 1 of this series when they were still getting beat in the first half? Two, how could he be outplayed by Amare in Game 4 in the last series?

Most of the time his offense is more of an afterthought, but against the Pacers, Bosh offense is extremely important because Indiana just happens to have two big strong and most importantly fast players to match up with James and Wade. Usually the players guarding those two are overmatched with, but not in this series. Against the Knicks, Wade basically was doing whatever he wanted, but now he has a way more difficult matchup. So neither one of them will be able to concentrate on anything else because both Danny Granger and Paul George are good enough offensively to keep James and Wade honest. Whereas, David West isn't that great of a defender so Bosh would probably have a better than average series scoring wise. Meanwhile, Miami has NO ONE to guard Roy Hibbert. People always talking about how James is so great he can play any position, they might want to try him at center.

Yes but there are too many guys just wanting to ride LeBron, Wade, and Bosh to a title instead of being ready to step up. The Heat should have brought in a guy like Stephen Jackson to come off the bench, a guy not scared to take the shot at the end of the game and who can make it.

Great analysis (especially with the SF/SG matchup) but don't sleep on David West. He was a 18 to 20 point scorer before joining the Pacers and was okay on defense. In addition to that, if you think that Bosh is a problem with West on him, put Hibbert there on him and he will be forced to shoot jumpers...Roy won't let him get anything close without a challenge.
