Sources saying Fisher was willing to accept a 50-50 but Hunter talked him out of it because he felt the players have basically gave in on everything else and this would look like a total defeat for them.

Players are pissed because many were expecting to go back to work.

Especially those who dropped out of the World Tour that is set to begin Sunday or Monday.

Lebron Melo CP3 Rose Westbrook Nash all dropped out yesterday Dwight Howard dropped out an hour before it was revealed that things fell apart.

Now the Owners are hoping what happen in 1999 happens again. Union Split.

Honestly the owners are in control in july the players were not going below 55. September it was 54.

Two weeks ago it was 53. Now they are at 52 again this is showing u right here who has the power.

I don't know why players think they can politic against these serpents. 50-50 is a even split. I think at this point its only going to get worse for the players bargaining against these dudes. These niggas is over playing their hand. This isn't the NFL where it was damn near a crisis. The owners aint gonna have that same kind of pressure to meet in the middle. Most of these owners is independently wealthy. The NBA players outside of a handful of superstars are totally dependent on their salaries. Stern basically is saying to get my ass back to the table you gonna have to pay :smh::smh:. Losing a month a pay when you only get paid for 6 months :smh::smh: whatever gains the players are holding out for its less than what they losing in tangible salaries.

The owners offer will now reflect on the money they have lost due to missed games.

Some are saying this is just an excuse for the Owners to go back to their hard cap offer.

If that is the case they might as well cancel the season. The BRI is holding them up right now. Imagine when all the progress they made in two days is thrown out the window

The big 7 teams need to break bread with the small franchises with some sort of revenue sharing system. That's why teams are losing money in the NBA as oppose to their NFL counterparts.

The promoters are trying to line up television broadcast rights both globally and back to the United States. Said promoters have spoken to a number of entities that do not hold national NBA rights — including Comcast regionals, Fox and CBS — but as of now there are no deals, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo. (That may be a tough sell as no company that may want to bid on future rights wants to cross the NBA on this.)

Basketball players are stupid. They could've gone on this world tour, use it as leverage but they jumped at the opportunity to play ball again for this ungrateful league.

Just hours after labor negotiations between the NBA and the National Basketball Players Asssociation broke down, multiple reports surfaced that the World All-Star Classic, an exhibition game featuring 14 NBA stars set to be played in Puerto Rico this Sunday, would be cancelled.

Yahoo reported that this weekend's game was cancelled because "organizer can't deliver players." ESPN.com reported that the game in Puerto Rico has been indefinitely postponed.

The Puerto Rico game was all that remained from the hyped World All-Star Tour, a six-game, four-continent tour that was said to include stars like Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Kevin Durant.

On Wednesday, the tour melted down to a one-game exhibition in Puerto Rico after word surfaced that James, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul had all withdrawn their names from the tour. While Bryant and Durant continued to say that they would be participating in the tour after James and company pulled out, the event apparently couldn't keep it together.

The World All-Star Classic will go down as another eyesore for NBA players, who have run a number of successful charity games during the lockout but have, by and large, failed to monetize their talent. A "Lockout League" held in Las Vegas drew scant crowds, and even the exhibition game circuit has had to deal with last-minute no-shows and scheduling concerns.

From what I read, no, but they have to concede by Wednesday next week.

The clock is ticking; either they hold tight on 52% and say bye to the season or go to 50 and get it done before too many games are lost.

The owners will fuck them for canceled games, so they either got to go the distance or get ready to deal next week.
