NBA Anti-Vaxxers Are Trying to Push Around the League .. Kyrie Irving says he was living the "life of a martyr"

If it's about public health then the mandate should be for everybody. If opposing ball players don't have to be vaccinated it defeats the purpose. It's a joke. It's bullshit for teachers as well if you really wanna know. There is no regulation.
refer back to post ! we want it to be for all we cant control what happens in other states, its pretty evident by now

Jay making himself look like a fuckin fool defending this idiot. :smh:

What was so smart by her question?

and this isn't a question for us, it's for his teammates, the organization, and their fans
I just found out the mandate is a joke though, so any 'professional journalists' should already know better. If visiting players can play, it's obvious the NBA has no fucks to give so why even ask teammates? I googled bradley Beal and all it talks about is his knee contusion. No outcry about him being unvaccinated and playing in NYC. Now if he been vaccinated recently, oops on my part. But where is the outrage if he isn't?

And I just found out that the PIGS in NYC don't have to comply with the mandate in order to work. Everyone can get the complete fuck out of here with the Kyrie coverage. The teacher and health worker coverage. Folks should be on those pigs. Period.

This is typical. They never take on pigs, even when it comes to a deadly disease. So folks in NYC using their twitter thumbs going at Kyrie when some unvaccinated, hot breath pig can get all up in their face? Nice fucking mandate. I wonder if this is how the mandates work in Cali.

The outrage isnt that Kyrie isnt vaccinated.

The outrage is that being unvaccinated makes him leave his team behind.

Its not Kyrie's fault and its not the Nets' fault, but thats still the reality of the situation.

Kyrie isnt just any player and the Nets arent just any team.

Nobody cares that he is leaving his team behind other than the Nets organization because they pay him. The outrage is because he isn't following everyone else and taking the vaccine because he was told too

Low key it don't matter for teachers either
No fucking way. So teachers in NYC can be inside with kids without a mandate? If that is verified, I'm done with this kyrie shit for real as should everyone. He should get a teacher/pig exemption.

That may be the case for you, but I seen others acting like Kyrie slapped their mamas. They don't give a fuck about him leaving his team behind.

NYC folks ain't really going at Kyrie to be honest. Even us vaccinated New Yorkers know how extreme the rules are to do anything in the city.

Idk man. If anything it should be us Nets fans angry over this shit and it's kinda split in terms of how most feel about him do to the loophole in unvaccinated players being able to play at Barclays without issue. It's just a really inconsistent rule that really makes no sense

Its a loophole in the mandate but keep in mind that the mandate wasnt even meant specifically for the NBA. Its just a "indoor activity" mandate for New Yorkers. Applies anyone over 12 so they really didnt even do this with the NBA in mind.

Not really a indoor mandate..my kids just played in a basketball tournament last week and there was no mandate for visitors or the teams

Again that sounds good but I live here and attended this event last weekend

And as a NYC resident, most of us aren't fond of the inconsistency of the mandate when it comes to certain people (police)
