This motherfucker done fucked his career up. How the hell do you go from a key contributor to constantly getting DNP-Coach's Decision (Nigga got 8 straight!)? By Being an asshole!!! Feel sorry for the lil Dude, but I don't see a team with any credibility touching him with a ten foot pole...:smh::smh:

This is clear case when a coach doesn't like a player. Dantoni is used some stupid excuse for benching nate. First nate shot the ball at wrong basket at the end of a qt, now I understand if wanna bench him 2 or 3 games but this has gotten way outta hand. Then coach had to the nerve to say when they played Orlando that Nate was playing around with Howard before the game, so that means he was not serious!!! What kind of crap is that:smh::smh::smh:

niggaz being niggaz. this guy is a clown. you can tell he probably fucks around in practice doing stupid shit. fukkin idiot.

It's never one thing...shit has probably been building.

He is a border-line pro, meaning there is 100 guys waiting for his spot....seems like you would keep your shit real tight.

Exactly, now I do think the coach uses him as a fall guy, but if I'm making that kind of cheese, and I know certain shit I do pisses my Boss off, then I'm gonna consider chilling. That's like me going to my job bullshitting in meetings and shit, and getting made if I get fired. Even though its a game, they are professionals, and lil joker needs to act more professional. Oh well, he might get it together in the NBDL next season.:smh:

This kid never grew up literally and figuratively:( He was traded on draft night by Phoenix, when you know who was the coach.

Wtf was all that about, even his teammate is trying to chill him the fuck out. It seems like every black athlete of this generation thinks they're 50 cent.

One of the problems is that Nate provides matchup problems. L. Hughes is playing well in the offense and they have won like 4 out of 6 (with the last two losses being blown leads.)

The issue I have is that if you don't want Nate on the squad, then trade him to fit a need. For some unknown reason, the Knicks are high on McGrady, but I don't see how that fills a need. Bender is an excellent fit, so it should be Curry that they get rid of.

Side note-I love how Walsh recently admitted that they fucked up and didn't pick up Brandon Jennings..but Duhon is playing well now, so that offsets it.

Do you know how many players joke around each other from opposing teams before tip off. All I am saying if that is your reason for benching him for 8 games well it's dumb.

hes being benched because knicks found a rotation that they have been winning with. Nate will be back, Nate iam sure wants to play but he has continuously said he trust the coach, even during the game hes cheering the team on the whole game instead of sobbing and kicking rocks on the sidelines. Hes a bit to much of a joker which I think coach is trying to be hard on him for a reason to get him to be serious.

I was expecting this gif when I saw this thread... :D:D:D

Hopefully Nate will get back on the Knicks rotation...but if not, then they need to either trade him or release him so a team could pick him up. I'm sure there are some teams out there that could use him as a scorer off the bench.

Just read an article where Nates agent is requesting a trade.

Apparently you never played organized team sports. All it takes is one fucking clown or jokester to fuck up the entire chemistry of a team. Especially a team that's trying to rebuild itself. Only proven winners can get away with shit like that, and
Nate hasn't really proven shit. On top of that, Nate seems to be the only one joking in that .gif. He even had one teammate trying to shut him up.

nate reminds me of a short ass 50cent. nate said he wants to play, wants to stay a knick. I think hes being patient with Mike will see how long this last or if Mike puts him in the game tonight.

No doubt. Even in high school, my coach didn't play that shit. All of the great ones, Kobe, Air, Patrick...they had game faces on the day BEFORE the game. No matter how Cool you are, if you are joking before the game, it has to have an effect on your mental state during the game...thus Nate taking a shot at the wrong basket at the end of the quarter. Harmless as it seemed, coach was damn sure correct in digging into his ass for that shit!!! You got to have focus...especially in the League...you are being paid millions of dollars to do a job, you wanna clown, get into comedy.

I feel you, my HS football coach was an ex-Marine, that ninja wasn't having any of that horsing around shit before games or during practice or even in the fucking locker rooms. Coach fell down a couple stairs one time heading to our bus and our starting tailback barely giggled......ninja didn't play for two weeks. Me and the rest of the LB's learned to not even smile during games, so even celebrations and hi-fives were out of the question. MAy seem a bit overboard but that shit teaches you FOCUS. Not to mention it intimidates the opposing team. You got a job to do, just do it. Once you're off the clock, so to speak, your time belongs to you, during games, at practice, that's team time.

How is it dumb when they've won 7 out of their last 10? Blast the move if they were losing games because of him being on the bench. They're obviously not missing him.

This has nothing to do with Nate, or his antics. It has everything to do with coaching style and substitution patterns. D'Antoni's style is not one to play 10, 11 or 12 players. He only likes to play 8 or 9 people at most and he likes to use his starters for 35-40 minutes. It's the best and really ONLY way to build a starting unit. Nate basically is caught up in a numbers game.

Wish more coaches had the balls to go back to this style. Isiah would still be coaching if he'd done it. Instead of trying to appease each and every player. Only so many minutes to go around, can't be done

And he has won how many Championships with this coaching style...

Doesn't matter. Whatever is HIS style of coaching is how he's going to do it. And he certainly wouldn't be the first coach to limit his rotation to 8 players. It's actually the foundation to building a solid starting unit (as opposed to just throwing together a bunch of names and expecting it to work) and PLENTY of other coaches have done so on route to a championship. Whether the teams had fast style or slow style.

The guys who like to play everyone on the roster....the Laurence Franks of the world, THAT'S the style that almost never works on the professional level. At least D'Antoni makes it to the playoffs.
