LMAO! :roflmao:

... I will say, tho' - I don't understand how any black man can MARRY a white woman.

Marriage can be difficult enough, but you're adding even more hurdles on top of the usual. Hurdles that are arguably more difficult to surmount than the typical hurdles couples face.

Add the reality of them aging at a different rate, and the math just doesn't work.

While I couldn't do it, 2 of my closest friends married white chicks and they are among the happiest of my married friends. Wives make more than them but adore them as men of the house. I have no idea how they are when racial issues come up in the news but their wives definitely seem like they love em and have their back harder than my other homies. I know its anecdotal but it has tamed my view on it.

We live in a world where racial issues are entirely too common. When I'm emotional about that shit, I'm not ever going to be interested in hearing about 'wait until all the facts are out' from my significant other. Not that you shouldn't, but a white bitch can't tell me wait until the facts are out. It would annoy me for a black woman to say that, but it'd ANGER me if a white woman said it.

Once again, its just too much.

Lastly, if we were to ever divorce, I just feel my pockets would get 'raped' even worse than if it was a black woman.

And having kids with them adds even more complications.

My ex told me her father and mother had a huge argument about what college she should go to. He wanted her to attend a HBCU for undergrad - her father is black and mother is white - and she wanted her to go to a white university.

Just an example.

So, a white woman CAN understand black struggle?

They're are no "Racial" discussions. He voices his anger, the white wife gives him head to calms his tensions and he goes and discusses the issues with his "Black" friends.

Just a guess:dunno:

Lol or as supreme said ..she's on that "wait till the facts" come out shit

Just an example.

Your decision to use "white" university entails that these universities are still for whites only. Also, you ignore the fact that whites are attending HBCU universities too. BTW, it should be the kids choice and not the parents regarding where their kid wants to go to school.

I had a few friends who said they wouldn't marry a white person because of race, and now all of them are happily married to a white people. I have friends who are unhappily married to people from their same background/nationality. In the end, it doesn't matter. If you tribalism dominates your frame of thinking then you won't be able to envision marrying someone from a different background.
Also, a person who marries a black person will most likely become aware, if not he/she is not already of aware, about how race will affect their life. Life isn't easy so why not live your life trying to be happy.

Let me guess, the chick went to a PWI?

Nate Parker is a traumatized confused victim of racism/white supremacy in a tragic arrangement with a white woman.

With that being said, I will watch the movie with great skepticism. Reason being that predominantly white people have been giving the movie excellent reviews.

In a system of R/WS, whenever white people are excited about something, as a victim you should be automatically suspicious and skeptical.

I believe that exclusive attraction to or being primarily attracted to white women, as a black man, is likely some form of mental disorder.

Especially for those who grew up 'culturally black'.

I mean, how else can you explain, given the context of our history with them, being primarily or exclusively attracted to them?

Something had to have gone left SOMEWHERE during the constructing of that individual's psychological framework.

Just an example.

That exact same argument takes place in households with 2 black parents.

Not when you have money.

"Ballplayers with white wives but peep their night lives"

Dude could be with another dude. His life isn't relevant to a cinematic piece on black history . It would be something else if he's holding a lecture on black relationships. He's an actor.

I don't like carrots. Wait this motherfucker likes carrots? Not watching his movie

No - man
I'm the same generation as Obama, we grew up in and/or came out of the Civil Rights era...

y'all young guys don't know what progress is,
you are standing on our shoulders as surely as we are standing on the shoulders of King , X, Evers, Carmicheal, Marshall etc...
This generation doesn't know how bad it was, and like most of Americans that never travel outside the country, y'all are clueless to the speed and how badly a society or government can just breakdown.

Time is the best educator

Just a question bruh

Then why bring it up?

It's a silly question seemingly aimed at "exposing" this brother simply because he's married to a White woman.
Especially since who he's married to has absolutely nothing to do with this movie.

- Will you start a thread like this when Star Wars: Rogue One comes out later this year and James Earl Jones does Darth Vader's iconic voice again?

-Will you start a thread like this when Luke Cage airs on Netflix because Alfie Woodard has been married to a White man for years?

- Will you start a thread like this when The Black Panther comes out in 2018 because Michael B. Jordan is engaged to a White girl?

-Did you start a thread like this when Star Trek: Beyond came out because Zoe Saldana is married to a White man?

Seems pretty silly, right?o_O

It's a monumental waste of time and effort "exposing" these irrelevant facts about these folks to hold up to public scrutiny. Especially when the film's they're attached to help to either uplift, showcase and shine a positive spotlight on Black talents and abilities...

So yeah, my "Crabs in a Barrel" comparison is appropriate here...:hmm:
