NASA Spacecraft Reveals Mysterious Object Punching Through One Of Saturn's Rings

That thing must have huge mass and must be travailing at a tremendous velocity, in order to be that close to Saturn and not be sucked in to it's gravitational pull.

An aside here, did anybody else catch the sky show last night? The Perseid meteor shower was happening.

Never having seen a 'shooting star', those thin streams of yellow light left from meteorite trails,(except on tv and the web that is), it was very cool to see that.

HOWEVER, not before this happened:

Taking out the trash last night, I saw and HEARD a massive brightly lit object streak briefly (half second) across a narrow section of my field of view in the sky, before disappearing. It moved too swiftly to discern any features, except that it was blue/white light, and large enough (or close enough) to have the scale/diameter just less than a dime. At that speed and size, I fully expected to hear an impact . . . I didn't. What's odd is afterwards, maybe 10 mins (I was too excited to go back in) of staring into the sky, THAT'S when I saw a shooting star characteristic of the thin wispy tailed meteors streaks I had seen on tv and the web. What I saw prior to that was NOT narrow or WISPY, and I heard it.

That was a bolide - a bigger, lower version of a shooting star. Even though it was low enough for you to hear it, most explode or burn up before hitting the ground.

Thanks. What's funny was after being 'star struck' for a minute, and peeping how close it was, I started looking in the direction the objects were coming from . . . to make sure I safe from getting 'stoned'. Man that 'bolide' was close.

Saturn's rings, loaded with ice and mud, boulders and tiny moons, is 170,000 miles wide. But the shimmering setup is only about 30 feet thick. The rings harbor 35 trillion-trillion tons of ice, dust and rock, scientists estimate.

so it's NOT impossible for ANY object to necessarily pass through it, hell even the CASSINI space probe space pass through that bitch​

there aren't more neos. we just are getting better at spotting them. as the tech improves and as the trickle down improves (meaning that advanced tech in the hands of amateurs) there will be so many spottings of neos that if you're an afraid-type nigga - you'll need meds.

I think our ancestors had a deep understanding of the world, and despite getting caught up in greed and religion, they inscribed these main concepts into all of the religions man created. I think they all talk about some sort of Hell on earth. I dont know what thats about but maybe its scientific in origin.

I think he is referring to the theoretical proposal which has been circulating for years which states that there is another unknown planet/brown dwarf (planet x) in our solar system that may have an elliptical orbit. Claims about a mysterious gravitational tug on Neptune which can not be a result of Pluto (because it is too small) have hinted at a more massive heavily body that could be the culprit.

Well, the astronomer got it partially right.

Yes, there is a brown dwarf that orbits the Sun. Nearly half the stars seen in the night sky are at least in a binary system. Ours is no different.

Yes, This brown dwarf drags debris from the Oort Cloud and the Kuiper Belt into the inner solar system when it is in perigee.

Maybe, but definitely not in the visible spectrum. The brown dwarf is small, (roughly the size of Jupiter) and very dim. They don't shine like a true star because they are between a planet and a star. It would most likely be seen in the infra-red long before it was visible to the naked eyes. Think smoldering ember instead of a roaring flame.

Yes, the Govt. knows and are preparing for the devastation that could be caused by it's return or at least the return of the debris that proceeds it's return. The brown dwarf is closer to apogee (one to two light years out) tho from my understanding.

Finally, that brown dwarf has at least one if not two inhabited worlds orbiting it. This is where the aliens that visit Earth are actually from, not to mention the forward bases within this solar system.

(Moving the capital won't have any effect on what a good sized NEO would/could do to the planet)
