I wish they had focused more on the radiation problem and the models used to train them for the mission. Over all pretty interesting tho.

Operation Paperclip

Thanks for the edit and my apologies for trying to frame an unframeable site. Basically, the gist behind Operation Paperclip was the US secretly bringing Nazi scientists into this country for technological purposes. Some of these Nazis went on to work with NASA, hence the NASA/Nazi connection. I was watching the History Channel and they said, "The Nazis didn't truly lose the war, instead they just switched sides and many came to work with the US." There was some fear being spread of "If we don't get the Nazis, somebody else will," and America wanted this knowledge for themselves. When I read up on these things (some of which the videos also touch upon), I definitely wasn't happy to see the Nazi connection. But if it happpened, it happened. Sad but true.
