It is so Ironic that Magglio and Big Hurt will see the Playoffs, but they get Thome and think their team improved..... How about saying that the pitching got hot in the playoffs and stop blaming Carlos Lee, Ordonez, and Thomas for the teams earlier failings?????

you're the onlly cubs fan i know saying this.

probably because this is the internet.

you're talking shit about a team that was eliminated from the playoffs the last week of the season while the cubs are securely in last place in the NL.

you stay sad.

The addition of Thome certainly did not hurt the Chisox
What hurt that team immensly was the LOSS of Aaron
Rowand. I've said this once before, he saved that pitching
staff countless runs with his play in CF. The pitchers were
decent, but with Rowand anchoring the defense in the OF
he made those pitchers a helluva lot better.

I think Mark Buerle in particular missed him the most. Damn
near ANYTHING hit in the Left center, or right CF gaps were
outs instead of doubles

Good Point, And it is absolutely strange how a player with Scott Podsedniks speed cant be converted to CF. They are waiting for Brian Anderson to get his shit together..... And I am waiting for Felix Pie to develop for the Cubs ..... He will be the next Lou Brock, or Corey Patterson......

The Sox, have some definite problems coming into next year. Their pitching is down, Bobby Jenks may not be the shut down closer that he showed in 2005..... And Really, the Tigers and Twins are decisively better teams, with better pitching going into next spring. But what do I care? I AM CUBS FAN

FUCK YOU GREED.
