LB, Bruh...the timing is fucked up too. I put my house up on the market so I could downsize from this 6 bedroom crib. I ain't rented in over 30 years or more. I'm shocked at rent prices and THEN, if there's some shit on my credit that's gonna fuck with my closing and leasing a crib til I can buy a smaller lair.
I DO NOT want them problems whether they can be explained away or not.
I'm trying to be out before the first snowfall.

Late last month, I paid my TMobile bill and was notified (online) that they'd been hacked and my PII may have been accessed.
Today, I received a letter from the Ohio Dept. of Job and Family Services.

Re: Your Federal Pandemic Unemployment Assistance Benefits
Dear Ohioan,
According to our records, you applied for and/or received Pandemic unemployment Assistance (PUA) benefits during the course of the pandemic. Federal stimulus legislation made it possible for eligible individuals to receive PUA if they did not qualify for traditional unemployment benefits. That legislation expires across the nation in September.
On September 4, 2021, PUA will expire in Ohio. Claims that are determined eligible for payment for weeks on or before September 4, 2021, that were not paid (as a result of a pending approval or successful appeal) will be paid. However, PUA benefits will no longer be payable for weeks you remain partially or totally unemployed after September 4, 2021.
The standard form letter goes on for four more paragraphs...
I called pertinent numbers to a couple of automated subsections to no avail. I then looked them up online and found an Identity theft number and link for reporting. I thought that I was gonna be calling in vain because it was too close to 5 pm EST but someone finally picked up.
The dude couldn't tell me exactly HOW MUCH of my info was used to file the claim/s because that too would involve giving me my own info or confirming to a stranger that my info was valid to continue using for fraud and theft.
My bank account is intact thus far but now I have to wait until tomorrow to alert them to watch for odd activities.I'd JUST contributed several hundred to my Sister In Laws funeral (kidney failure due to diabetic complications) and also to my nephew's 17-year-old failing donated kidneys who has had to compete with COVID patients to get some semblance of treatment. His wife can't work because they live in my small hometown but he's treated at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville or an ER in Jackson, TN that is equipped to deal with his condition and he's not showing any improvement.
All I can do at the moment is to hurry up and wait and hope that this was revealed in time to halt some lump sum payout of back payments, etc. I had to fill out a report online with all my WI info included and they'll contact me for a follow-up.
What's funny IS that I just had an argument with my oldest sister about using Zelle and her fear of banking online as she was spearheading the fundraiser for our nephew and how her fears of conspiracies are unfounded. Two days later, here I am.
To anyone else who uses TMobile, keep an eye out for any unusual activity in your accounts. I'll be getting ahold of their asses tomorrow as well.
Thanks for the heads up Locs.Sorry to hear bruh... T-Mobile customer as well... I jumped on that McAfee immediately, if you haven't yet please take advantage... Apparently, there are two class action lawsuits being put together in regards to T-Mobiles negligence
Yessir! Also any accounts that give you the option to use an authenticator do it versus using the code by text/mobile option... Google Authenticator serves a great purpose... Hope you can navigate thru this bullshit with minimal damageThanks for the heads up Locs.![]()
