Ingredients
2 cups spinach
2 cups cucumber
1 head of celery
1/2 inch or teaspoon ginger root
1 bunch parsley
2 apples
Juice of 1 lime
Juice of 1/2 lemon



Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender. This makes approximately 28-30 ounces, or 3-4 servings.

shit has a strong taste....really the celery dominates it

i added two more apples to mine and i dont peel them to neutralize the taste

plus i added cayenne pepper 90,000 btu's and chia seed

i use my juicer instead of a blender...in a blender its way to thick for me

ive been on it for the past 2 weeks and my energy level is through the roof

i only got into it cuz i bought a bigass bag of kale that we werent getting through quick enough so i just started doing anything i could to get rid of the kale and tossed a handful into my apple banana smoothie one day. didnt mess up the taste at all so i just started tossing a handful into everything i try in the blender.

i make it instead of breakfast. drink 1/2 like 20 min before i workout and the other 1/2 after most times...unless im rushing. only time i do breakfast is the weekends if my chick is over or i have company. i cant really get nobody else on the smoothie mission. everybody likes them but not enough to be replacing meals on the regular.

I eat raw vegetables you lose some of that fiber when you juice

blender. its the same as eating them cept ur digestive system doesnt work as hard. i believe thats how it works. u dont lose any fiber...i dont think.

i have read that u get the most nutrients out of kale when they are steamed or cooked a lil bit though. i do that too.:dunno:
 
thats pretty close to the fat sick and nearly dead recipe if you need something to cover some other taste try kiwis they work well for cover
 
what's a good juicer to buy. note: im not looking to drop $500 on a juicer right now.

Some people on the 'net say if you drink an entire bunch of celery, it will make you bust a huge volume of nut. Allegedly, Peter North does this before doing a scene, and is one of his secrets.

Anybody ever try this?

I dont need to lose any weight since i dont want to lose muscle

but this helps me get my greens in and it takes my energy level through the roof

but im reading online and mad people are losing weight on this

but that wouldnt happen for me as i eat almost 3000 calories a day to keep my muscle

I've made this a couple times myself actually. pretty good. Just started eating kale for about a month now and I have it in meals twice a week. bananas and apples are a must in every shake I ever make these days...
