My Gray Hair Is Turning Black Again !!!!!!!!!!!

Any good vegetables and fruits that promote hair growth and melanin production in the follicles?

Yep - anything with folic acid, note folic and follicle are almost the same word.

Dark leafy greens are the way to go, high in B vitamins, I have tried to eat them every day but I drop out of the regime quite quickly. Much easier for me to take two spoons of blackstrap with breakfast.

Spinach is a great one, just wash it and eat raw, don't cream and cook it to mush. Baby spinach is a bit tastier if you can get it.

Also look for copper - found in dark chocolate, sesame seeds, cashew nuts and so on.

Just recently saw where researchers are sying that some greying hair has something to do with the way the body processes hydrogen. By the time it gets to the hair follicles it accumulates in the root cells and becomes hydrogen peroxide, then it bleaches your hair from the inside out.

So a diet that would be able to bind up hydrogen or neutralize it in some other way may improve ones chances of returning the hair to it's normal color. If true, premature greying might be a sign the body isn't working properly.

didnt know u could even do that
congrats fam

maybe you were just under a lot of stress and that caused your hair to turn grey..

don't underestimate what stress can do to the human body..
it can cause a lot of health problems..

you got to take it easy no matter how bad the situation is...

this is also true:yes:

I just don't have the head for a bald cut.:(

Same here, I'm not built for the "milk dud" look:smh:

One thing I used to think was the hair loss gene came from the father, but it actually comes from the mothers side. The closest thing to what the average dudes hair will look like in the future, is to look at your grandfather on your mothers side, thats usually the best indicator

Thought I would share this with the fam. I was turning gray early and was hating it but over the past couple of months I have turned it around.

I got the clippers out yesterday then checked myself in the mirror and was like WTF ???????

A lot of my scattered gray has gone and some has been replaced by dark patches.

Two things I did to do this.

1) Stopped drinking sodas - full of caffeine and other shit that fucks up your body.

2) Take two teaspoons of blackstrap molasses every day - not regular molasses, it has to be blackstrap. This stuff is the fucking biz! Costs like $1 something from a big store or health food store and is full of good stuff. Google gray hair and blackstrap if you want further proof.

Blackstrap is full of good stuff like calcium, iron and copper which produces melanin in the body. Great for the skin and nails and loads of other stuff.

It takes a while but stick at it - it works !!!!!

Another 12 testaments here.

Co-sign. I'm terrified of going bald, but the cards are stacked against me. :smh: If they come out with some shit that keeps me from going bald... I'll pay damn near whatever for it. I just don't have the head for a bald cut.:(

I'm with this brotha. Will this stuff help rekindle my hairline...lol

I have a gray nose hair :dunno:

Glad baldness and gray hair doesn't run in my family.:smh:

Pops is 54 with a head full of black thick hair, his pops was the same way.:dance:

Unfortunately for you it comes from your mothers side of the family

ANY COMMERCIAL STORES CARRY IT LIKE WALMART, GNC IE... I'M VERY INTERESTED TO TRY IT. I ALSO DID'NT KNOW THAT TEE TREE OIL ALSO HAS MANY USES, OTHER THAN FOR HAIR CARE.

Even though alot of that shit is hereditary, most can be changed.

gray hair is a copper deficiency and baldness is a tin deficiency.

Some of my hair began turning gray,a few years ago.........I truly think it was because I started taking zinc supplements(50mg),without balancing the copper with it.

Started getting greys at 16.

Shit went bannanas in my mid-20's.

Now I'm basically salt and pepper all over and my temples fully white.

I think the worst part about going grey is that the hair changed texture. It went from soft and curly, to stiff and wirey.

Strangely, the hair just about everywhere else is black as the day I was born. One or two in my beard in the same spot that get pulled out and two down below :smh:

I had a similar problem last year. There was one WILD gray hair growing out of my head. I pulled it out. It grew back a few weeks later. So I pulled it out again and now it's gone. Coincidentally, I also stopped dealing with this crazy women who was stressing me out. I think she was the cause!

Well thats why I posted the info up here, to help out the fam.

It is amazing how many benefits this stuff gives you, if you chek the link http://www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/molasses.html you'll see benefits to conditions such as anemia, arthritis, hangovers, lack of energy, hot flushes, cramps, upset stomach, reduction/cure of cancer, constipation, back pain etc, etc, etc.

Oh and a lot of chicks have low iron levels so it could be great for your lady too.
