Question about software updates, I use little snitch to block outgoing conenctions but when I do a apple software update I see updates for cracked apps, are those updates off limit also?

YES! Those are off limits . . . Apple ain't playin'. I don't know how they do it, but those updates run a scan regardless of Little Snitch. It might deactivate your 'wares.

Even if it won't, I don't trust it.

I've updated a few apps through there and they still work, but it seems apple knows if you have any of their products installed regardless of little snitch, I'm sure the update scan sends back data to apple which I'm sure is suppose to be anonymous so they cant really prosecute unles they admit without breaking some privacy laws

This Avid is giving me trouble on install. I mean, it installs fine, but the instructions are...

SuperPro32 in /Library/Frameworks/SuperPro32.framework/Versions/A

the superpro I found and replaced. the avidmediacomposer, I have no idea where this file location is.

so when avid media compser (the application) opens up, the licensing screen comes up and it prompts the trial version and what not

Thanks, do I have to burn these iso to a disk to add them as langauges and are there activation codes?

I somehow did spanish 1 but for some reason I can't add japanese, anyone can walk me through this please?

Hey I just downloaded the whole Final Cut Studio. I was wondering we could get a re-up of motion disc 2 part 8 of the megaupload link. I tried downloading it but the link is dead. I am so close to having the whole suite.

Okay I've downloaded the whole studio. I have mounted them all first before starting the installation. When I started the installation everything was running smooth until The installation failure popped up. I did a re-install Snow Lepoard on my mac (since there is nothing on it) and tried installing the Studio again, but still keEP getting the INSTILLATION FAILURE. NEED HELP?

Similar thing happened to me when I first got the FCS from this thread. I thought it was the end, but later when I checked in my applications folder, all files were there, and I have since managed to access and use Final Cut and edited a documentary.I haven't tried DVD studio and the rest as yet, but I suppose they work fine too. Before thinking that it has failed, try accessing your application folder and try launching any program from FCS.

Well The only program that I was able to install was Final Cut. DVD Studio, Soundtrack, Motion, Color, and other were partially downloaded. But I was not able to use them. For instance, when I opened Motion and when I just wanted to look at the templates the templates would not come up. Would I need to have iLife installed inorder to run the whole suite?

I don't think so. When I installed my FCS, had not yet got the iLife, and it worked fine!

How did you install them? Can you give me a step by step process of how you did it?
 
#1: Thanx for this post. I am a recent Mac man so this is BEASTY as FUCK 2 ya boy.
#2: The program "Business Card Composer" is asking for a license key.
