My Elk Hunt - Success

I told myself, that I'll only kill what I'd eat. So I'm not out there killing bears (unless one attacks me) etc...

We have become way too civil now. Black men used to farm and hunt just like other races. Now, we can't bust a grape. If civilization goes to pot, and the only way for you to feed your family is for to to go out there in the woods and get it yourself, could you?

If you can't, your ass had better learn. If someone gave you a animal to feed your family, could you cut up? could you gut it?

It's fine if you want to rely on the supermarket, that's your prerogative. But, I want to be able to hunt, kill, and process for myself. The meat tastes better when you know what you've been through to get it.

Here's some of the ground elk. I had them add beef suet (fat) to it because elk is super lean meat.

I just left Colorado and got invited to go hunting with a couple Mexicans. They’re going to the Mountains at the boarder of New Mexico.

Exactly. Only animal I will kill on sight is an alligator. Something about them. Man I don’t like them mfs But, I will also eat them. White folk be shooting any and everything they can kill. I contacted these guys (https://nationalbrotherhoodofhunters.org/ ), Bro. I speak with one of their contacts here in Cali on the regular.

They are made up of Black men who love to hunt, and they don't mind sharing their knowledge. The guy I talk with has goat, wild boar, and pheasant in his freezer. So, we're going to hook up next week, and I'm going to get some goat and pheasant in exchange for some of my elk.

How much overall for everything and goat? Sheeeid! Man I love goat!

But, having said that... Those cats went goose hunting I think last year.

I had signed up to take the hunting course in Maryland last month but I couldn’t make it to finish the class each week. I wanted to get my feet wet with that but maybe next time.

So I was able to find a spot not far from me that’s in Glenn Dale and actually found out there were spots all over. Come to find out they still wanted me to take a hunter safety course which was gonna take weeks but fortunately I was able to find a guy who would teach the class that incorporates all the safety training with the skeet and trap shooting that worked with my schedule.

Man that shit was harder than I thought it would be shooting trap and skeet but the prices were better than I thought they would be. Not ready for Sporting yet. Definitely want to get better at it and maybe try my hand at one of those tournaments. Wanted to go again this month but probably wait until January.’

I almost got a Perazzi. I learned that the Cesar Guirini is owned by Perazzi’s nephews. My instructor shoots for Caesar so I ended up going that direction.

I found out that I'm left eye dominant (right handed though). He said, "Here's how we're going to fix that, because I'm left eye dominant as well." He took the left side of my cap and titled down just enough to cover my left eye. The he said, "This is going to drive your left eye nuts, but now you'll be able to see down the barrel properly. Then we started shooting. Out of 150 rounds, I missed four times. I shot 150 shells of light target load. My shoulder was still done. But I had the best time ever.

I can't get over your weapon though... She's sexy as Hell. Congratulations on the purchase.

They have gator hunts and possible the iguana hunts where you can shadow and basically record in Florida. I’m going to put at least a .300 blackout round between a gators eyeballs forcing his brains out at near the speed of sound. Man fuck a gator! Ya heard me!
