Airline captain captured by FBI after flying too close to ice wall at edge of the Earth

Earlier this week an airline captain for Frankston Airways was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport and jailed without trial by the FBI, after reports surfaced that passengers on the flight he was on had uploaded videos to social media of the ice wall at the edge of Earth. The videos, seemingly proving that the Earth is in fact flat, are causing world wide outrage, with flat earthers gleefully proclaiming that they’ve been right for years, and many condemning pilots on the world for contributing to the round globe conspiracy.
Andrew Shepherd, 42, was flying the Moorabbin – Los Angeles route in a Boeing 777 when his crew had to deviate south from their planned course to avoid a storm. The ice wall and Milky Way beyond it were filmed during this maneuver, as well as many military ships guarding the wall. The videos were promptly uploaded through the aircraft’s in-flight entertainment, resulting in a swift capture of the captain by an FBI SWAT team once the plane docked at its gate at LAX.
Online responses were reportedly mixed. One woman commented “See!!! I knew it was all lies. Maybe now they’ll finally also do something about all the chemtrails they’re spraying on us every day”. The Hangar Herald also reached out to the Flat Earth Society for a statement, with their representative, Ms. Ima Dumphuck, telling us “Flat earthers all around the globe are relieved and ecstatic that the truth has finally been revealed”. We then asked her to repeat her previous answer to us, very carefully and word by word, but she respectfully refused.
Governments around the world, as well as the UN, have been quick to condemn the videos posted online, stating “They aren’t legitimate at all, these people must be using lenses to distort the video. Don’t buy into this nonsense, and please remain calm”. The United States has reportedly also expedited the deployment of it’s entire naval fleet to the location of the incident for an “investigative mission”.
US president Donald Trump stated to the UN “America has the best lens distorted video detection in the world. We will find the people that did this first, because nobody has better lens distorted video detection than us, nobody”.
Physicists around the world are now left with the incredibly difficult task of rewriting the laws of physics as a result of this discovery, with many stressing that it will be an impossible task due to the fact that all currently orbiting satellites in space, as well as all discoveries in the history of astronomy, are based on current laws. One physicist said “We have a problem now where we have no fucking idea how anything we’ve launched into space even works. Like, literally everything is different. How do orbits still function with the incorrect mathematical equations we came up with that are based on a globe Earth? We’ve hit a wall that we have no way to get past – oh, pun not intended, haha”.
Captain Shepherd is currently being held in solitary confinement at the ADX Florence supermax prison in Colorado, with authorities stating that he will be imprisoned there indefinitely. He has been denied his request for legal counsel from Edward Snowden.
