Like I said in the post, if you don't qualify please copy and paste and forward it to people you know that may. I would love to get some black folk in the loop on these. Especially on the SAP jobs. I have set up quite a few interviews and talked to a lot of candidates and only one black female has had the skill sets and she was on the lower end. No brothers at all. :smh:

Greedy, nothing in Chicago currently. Not sure if I will get anything in Chicago or not, but anything is possible. Just depends on where my client's have needs or are located.

I just opened my firm up in late March so there will be more to come. I will be shifting some of my focus to some executive diversity positions in the near future. Will post updates on here from time to time.

Spranger1,

Entry or mid-level with what skill sets? What is your background? I will let you know when I get something that fits what you do. It probably won't be entry level but you never know. Most of what I do is mid to executive level.

Stop working for other people and build something for yourself. Direct Selling is the way to go if you want to make it large without the stress and hassle.

Check out what I am doing. The worst case scenario, you would be no worse off than you are now. http://noniway.com

I wish I were a recruiter banking, but alas I'm not. I got out of the programming game to pursue other interests, but bills are piling, and I haven't had much luck securing a job in my new chosen career (writing) so it's time to get back on the grind :(

To prepare, if you don't wanna go back to school, go online and learn for yourself. Look up tutorials and such and do practice exercises. Express this during interviews and on your resume. Create a website to showcase these skills. Then, you gotta keep up on the news. While searching for tutorials, keep track of industry news sites and surf them daily.

The big thing though, and it's the same for any other industry- if you're chasing money, you're never gonna get it. First do it for the love, this increases interest and you will do it no matter what, even when things get tough. Plus it doesn't hurt to be talented in the field neither. Unfortunately for me, I fell out of love with programming (long hours, getting 12 pages a night, etc., etc.), so I'm trying to find something else.

Oh That Is Soooooo Fucking True... It Remind Me Of The Time When I Got Caught Up In The Mcse Hype....i Hate That Job. I Have The Talent But I Didnt Like The Gig... It Was Total Bs For Working For Ge Capital Home Depot Credit Card Unit....

But Database/application Programming Was My First Love But I Never Look Into Enterprise Solution... If You Have A Programming Background It Shouldnt Be So Hard To Learn.. Shyt Is Fucking Easy

Dont Let The Degree Requirement Scare U.. U Can Always Say In Progress But Dont Lie Because They Do Verify Shyt... Said U Would Resume As Soon U Are Able To Afford It... But You Have The Experisite...

I admire this thread for the knowledge, advice and opportunity
keep it up and much success on your firm
