watching their alma mater lose after they and ESPN worshiping K was everything. K got whupped. Now you can retire and always remember this game.

Plus, they had Bilas and J Will calling and doing analysis for the game. J Will wasn't even trying to hide his bias.

He came over to us, and talked to us. Signed autographs. Very nice dude
So many people wanted that job. So many more qualified people. No way that white boy will out coach vets like Davis in big games. Plus, what made Coach K great wasn’t just his ability to win, but his connections. He knows everyone, so it was much easier to recruit players and use that as a selling point. Now Hubert is better connected and I’m impressed what he has done with this Carolina squad as of late. He is going to fit in nicely.
Duke is forever going to live off of Coach K’s legacy, so instead of replacing him with an experienced and better coached that is a Duke native, they chose Jon Scheyer. No experience. Not connected.
At least the Heels followed up with Williams after Smith and Williams didn’t have to live off of Dean’s Smith legacy. I don’t see Hubert Davis doing the same thing either. The Heels going to be good. I’m not so sure about Duke.
NIL is a game-changer and coaches today either have to adapt to it or get left behind. That's a big reason why Roy left and why Coach K is leaving.
Neither one of them can adapt to today's players and rules. Hubert connects better with today's players than Scheyer ever will.
At some point in the future the Duke name won't mean anything in recruiting if they're not winning at the same level that Coach K was.
I can argue that Duke basketball has slowly been falling off since their last championship in 2015.
They've had the #1 recruiting class almost every since then but don't even have a Final Four to show for it since then.

Punk ass refs ejected Maneke with 10 minutes left in the game. Up 25 points and that white boy was on FIRE.
After that, the refs went on a 9 minute bullshit favor call for Baylor. Then UNC couldn’t closeout because they were missing free throws.
Baylor took it to OT, but UNC did in OT what they should have done at the end of regulation.
Damn UNC pull that one out and got the win!!..Baylor almost had them!!..It was a good game

He has games like today where his shot isn't falling and then he's pressing to make a shot and playing out of control.
Definitely, those Baylor guards really exposed our lack of ball handlers. RJ isn’t as quick laterally as I thought he was, so he couldn’t out run the double team.
Im so used to UNC having really quick guards that would never get trapped, it’s weird seeing us struggle on the press. Lawson would have went full court. Lol.
best believe there's gonna be a lot of work on breaking press and getting the ball inbounds and past half court
Man, Lawson and Raymond Felton were the best PGs during my time watching Carolina basketball at pushing the ball up the court FAST.
