When I see that shit, I say whatever, and keep it moving. If it wasn't for the media, I wouldn't know shit about drag shows or what they are doing. I seriously doubt a lot of schools are welcoming drag queens to come read to the kids.

Regardless of how it's being done, The repubs are openly coming hard against anything and everything black. Do you think they would tell a jew that not all nazis were bad or that there were some benefits to Jews being put in concentration camps? I think the illegal thing is legit issue. The problem most folks still think of the typical illegal as someone that comes here to cut grass or pick fruit. I don't think most folks realize that how they start is not how they are trying to finish so to speak. Eventually, they or their offspring will be taking jobs and opportunities from black folk. We see that shit everyday.

On the other hand, I think some black folk that have family outside of the US worry about how they would be treated if they came over here by less than legal means. Rightly or wrongly, they end up sharing that empathy with other groups.

That's why I brought up the age of children. Since I have a young child, I'm an outlier for most of the BGOL vets here. So yeah, I see shit these cats don't fucking see. If it wasn't for having a young child, I wouldn't believe none of this shit is happening. It's unreal. I have children of all ages, and have never, ever, ever, ever seen shit like this. It's like I'm living in the show Sliders. (any cat with a young child in public school that is in the suburbs better go visit the classroom RANDOMLY at least a few times.)
