its honestly impossible for anyone anywhere to PUBLICLY give this album a fair honest unbiased review.
but let's presuppose that its a freaking classic
Does that CHANGE anything for Drake?
Aren't his critics gonna STILL say the exact same things about him?
So does it even MATTER if its good?
look its not going to be good...
he has been coasting off of label games, public perception and fan worship for years
Now - Drake is trapped in his ego
If he finds a way to kill his ego or somehow experiences ego death... thats when we'll next see good to great art from him

The divide is ridiculous
Why couldn't he make a good album? He has many many in the past and a ridiculous streak of hits for over a decade.
And even the new songs post Kendrick a few have been certified hits to decent to completely forgettable.
I always liked his music up until very recently since he seems lost and unsettled. I blame Yachty and Drake need to be CURRENT. But he is way too talented to just dismiss off hand.
I'm more focused on the PRESSURE and the insane amount of self inflicted damage he has done to his image and reputation. Can he somehow channel.date to make a classic album.
So far. Not looking good.
But I think its possible.

He made a certain kind of music and it had its run. It was already getting shakey with that one project he dropped before the beef, if i remember correctly. Kendrick lifted the spell drake had on people and its a wrap now. Nobody cares what he has to say at this point. People have moved on. Shit looks kimd of wide open though because a few of these main stream guys are looking washed. Looks like a turning of the tides. Especially with the good projects the "old heads" are putting out
