Here Are All the Hot 100 Records That Drake Has (and Hasn’t) Broken​

Drake has set a number of Hot 100 records since his chart arrival in 2009 with "Best I Ever Had."

Every Drake release brings its share of Billboard chart history.
Dating back to his arrival on the Billboard Hot 100 on May 23, 2009, with his breakthrough single “Best I Ever Had” (No. 2 peak), Drake has broken record after record, and reached unprecedented heights on the charts.

In 2015, he became just the fourth act in history to log 100 total entries on the Hot 100. He then joined the 200-hits club in 2019, and then the even more exclusive 300-hits club (of which he’s the only member) in 2023.
Some of Drake’s other esteemed Hot 100 records include the most top two, top three, top five, top 10, top 20 and top 40 entries, as well as the most No. 1 debuts.
He also holds the all-time record for the most No. 1 songs among rappers, with 13. Among all acts, he’s tied with Michael Jackson for the fourth-most, after only The Beatles (20), Mariah Carey (19) and Rihanna (14).
As Drake achieves more milestones, here’s a look at all the Hot 100 records that the superstar has achieved in his career, and those that he hasn’t (yet), all through the chart dated March 1, 2025.
It’s worth noting that, as streaming has become more prominent in recent years, some artists have been able to achieve impressive Hot 100 feats after releasing high-profile albums. The model contrasts with prior decades, when acts generally promoted one single at a time in the physical-only marketplace and on radio. That shift in consumption helps explain why artists have been able to increase their total number of career entries and top 10s over short spans in recent years.

Most Top Two Hot 100 Hits (tied)​

Drake has tallied 23 songs that have peaked in the top two on the Hot 100. He’s tied with Mariah Carey and The Beatles for the most of all time.

Most Top Three Hot 100 Hits​

Drake has earned a record 30 top three hits in his career.

Most Top Five Hot 100 Hits​

Drake has earned a record 41 top five hits on the Hot 100 in his career.

Most Top 10 Hot 100 Hits​

Drake has tallied a record 80 top 10 hits on the Hot 100 in his career.

Most Hot 100 Hits​

Drake has tallied a record 358 Hot 100-charting songs in his career, the most of all time. Notably, he’s also appeared on three additional charting songs, however he wasn’t officially credited on the tracks and therefore they don’t count towards his career total: Young Money’s “Every Girl” (No. 10 peak in 2009) and “Bedrock” (No. 2 peak; 2010), and Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode” (No. 1; 2018).
Drake tallied his 100th career entry in 2015, after releasing his collaborative album with Future, What A Time To Be Alive, and his 200th entry in 2019 after dropping Care Package. He became the first artist to tally 300 total charting songs, thanks to For All The Dogs, in 2023.

Most No. 2-Peaking Hot 100 Hits (tied)​

Drake and Taylor Swift are tied for the most songs that peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100, with 10 apiece.

Most No. 1 Hot 100 Debuts​

Drake has a record nine No. 1 debuts on the Hot 100: “God’s Plan,” “Nice For What,” “Toosie Slide,” “What’s Next,” “Way 2 Sexy” featuring Future & Young Thug, “Wait For U” with Future & Tems, “Jimmy Cooks” featuring 21 Savage,” “Slime You Out” featuring SZA, and “First Person Shooter” featuring J. Drake spent a record 431 consecutive weeks on the Hot 100 (2009 – 2017).

Most Songs in the Top Five Simultaneously (shared)​

Drake, The Beatles, Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar are the only artists in history who have blanketed the entire top five of the Hot 100 in a single week. As such, they share the record for the most concurrent top five hits in a single week. The Beatles achieved the feat first, on April 4, 1964, followed by Drake on Sept. 18, 2021, then Swift on Nov. 5, 2022 and on May 4, 2024, and then Lamar on Dec. 7, 2024.

Most Songs in the Top 20 Simultaneously (tied)​

Drake landed 15 songs in the top 20 of the Hot 100 on the Nov. 19, 2022-dated chart after releasing Her Loss with 21 Savage. It set a new record for the most concurrent top 20 hits in a single week. Taylor Swift tied the record on May 4, 2024, when she charted 15 songs in the region from The Tortured Poets Department.

Most Top 10 Hits in a Calendar Year​

Drake earned 13 top 10 hits on the Hot 100 in 2018, 2021 and 2022. That’s the most ever in a single year.

Most Cumulative Weeks Spent in the Top 10​

Drake has spent 389 total weeks in the top 10 of the Hot 100 in his career (combining the totals of all his 80 top 10s), the most of all time.

HASN’T BROKEN: Most No. 1 Hits​

Drake has tallied 13 No. 1 hits on the Hot 100 in his career, the most among rappers. Among all artists, though, he’s tied with Michael Jackson for the fourth-most, after The Beatles (20), Mariah Carey (19), and Rihanna (14).

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Songs on the Hot 100 in a Single Week​

Morgan Wallen holds the record for the most entries on the Hot 100 in a single week, with 36 on March 18, 2023 from his LP One Thing At A Time. Drake previously held the record, when he charted 27 songs on the July 14, 2018-dated chart.

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Cumulative Weeks Spent at No. 1​

Drake has spent a combined 56 weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in his career. That’s the fourth-most, after Mariah Carey (97), Rihanna (60) and The Beatles (59).

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Consecutive Weeks Spent in the Top 10​

Drake spent 51 consecutive weeks in the Hot 100’s top 10 in 2015-16, thanks to “Hotline Bling,” Rihanna’s Drake-featuring “Work,” “Summer Sixteen” and “One Dance,” featuring WizKid and Kyla. That’s the fourth-longest unbroken run in the top 10, after Katy Perry’s 69-week run in 2010-11, The Chainsmokers’ 61-weeks in 2016-17 and Justin Bieber’s 59 weeks in 2021-22.

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Songs in the Top 10 Simultaneously​

Drake logged a then-record nine entries in the top 10 on Sept. 18, 2021 after releasing Certified Lover Boy. A year later, Swift surpassed that when she blanketed the entire top 10 on the chart dated Nov. 5, 2022 after releasing Midnights (she repeated the feat on May 4, 2024 with 10 songs in the top 10 from The Tortured Poets Department).

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Songs in the Top 40 Simultaneously​

Drake previously held the record for most simultaneous top 40 hits, when he landed 22 songs in region on Oct. 21, 2023, after releasing For All The Dogs. Taylor Swift broke the record on May 4, 2024 though when she charted 26 songs in the top 40 from The Tortured Poets Department.

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Top 10 Hot 100 Hits From One Album​

Drake scored nine top 10s from his 2021 album Certified Lover Boy, a record at the time, but broken by Taylor Swift when she scored 10 from Midnights on Nov. 5, 2022. Swift also scored 10 top 10 hits from The Tortured Poets Department.

HASN’T BROKEN: Most No. 1 Hits in a Calendar Year​

Drake biggest year, in terms of No. 1 Hot 100 singles, was 2018, where he scored three of his 12 No. 1 hits: “God’s Plan,” “Nice for What” and “In My Feelings.” The record for the most No. 1 hits earned in a calendar year belongs to The Beatles, who earned six in 1964: “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” “She Loves You,” “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Love Me Do,” “A Hard Day’s Night” and “I Feel Fine.” (Though Drake’s vocals are used on Travis Scott’s 2018 No. 1 “Sicko Mode,” he is not officially credited on the track and it therefore does not count towards his chart history.)

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Top Five Hits in a Calendar Year​

Drake tallied eight top five hits on the Hot 100 in 2021 and 2023. The Beatles hold the all-time record for most top five hits in a calendar year, though, with 10 earned in 1964: “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” “She Loves You,” “Please Please Me,” “Twist and Shout,” “Do You Want To Know a Secret,” “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Love Me Do,” “A Hard Day’s Night,” “I Feel Fine” and “She’s a Woman.”

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Top 40 Hits in a Calendar Year​

Drake earned 31 top 40 hits on the Hot 100 in 2022, the previous record for most ever in a calendar year. Taylor Swift broke the record in 2023 though, earning 39 total top 40 hits.

HASN’T BROKEN: Most Overall Entries in a Calendar Year​

Drake charted 40 songs on the Hot 100 in 2022, his personal best in a single year. The overall record for most entries earned in a calendar year is 80, achieved by the Glee Cast in 2010. The most for an individual artist is 54, by Taylor Swift in 2023.

HASN’T BROKEN: Song With the Most Weeks Spent at No. 1​

Drake’s longest running No. 1 hit is “God’s Plan,” with 11 weeks in 2018. Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, and Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” share the all-time longevity record, with 19 weeks spent at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in 2019 and 2024, respectively.

Drake’s longest running top five Hot 100 hit is “God’s Plan” (22 weeks). The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” holds the record for the most weeks spent in the region, with 43 weeks.
