I came up in the 80s. Even janitors would have jumped and dealt with this shit. We had legal paddling back then in Ohio. Times have changed a lot. They always do, but damn. Teacher might lose her job over some kids need to be put on their asses.

At our high schools if you stand around watching a fight you are suspended. The kids must have their ID visible around their neck at all times. The ID has a break away latch so if you are caught fighting or watching the teacher or security guards can snag ID's fast. Am I making this up because I don't have kids? Idiot.
My kids don't run the neighborhood or didn't go to sleepovers unless me or my wife personally knew the other kids parents. My kids stayed in sports every season of high school and MMA in downtimes & summer. Keep your kids busy and they will stay out of trouble. Also, if kids are caught fighting or get bellow a C average in grades the kids are suspended from their sport by the school.

A kid doesn't have to run the streets or you can know their parents. People fight/kill people they know so it is more likely that your kids got into fights with their friends. Shit happens all the time. Now, it is different than fighting in school. I know many kids who have never fought in school, but out of school is entirely different. So gtfoh with that bs. The main difference between kids and adults is that kids lack sosaystication so their fights are more likely to be violent while adults will wage war in different ways.

3 of my kids have been in 1 fight in school. Each i mean. Kids don't automatically mean MUST FIGHT. Not all kids are like it's fight club. That's weird that you guys don't think it's possible for a kid not to fight.
Most kids do not assault other kids.
I have coached 3 years of AAU girls basketball & been to every game and practice of my son through pop warner to high school football. The one constant from all that experience being around different kids of all walks of life is the kids that fight and show no respect their parents are MIA. Then you have the parents that show up but act worse then their kids.
One kid for example in pop warner at the age of 11 would constantly back talk the coaches, curse, lay down on the field and not practice, not practice, all types of bullshit. Never saw a parent around. Finally they had to kick him off the team. Fast forward to high school and he is on the football team. Rarely dressed because he would miss practice all the time. Finally he plays and his mother shows up. Loudest and most ignorant person in the stadium.
Time after time saw this pattern. If the kid at some point in his life got his ass whooped for his actions he wouldn't turn out that way.
The kids that were respectful and on point had their parents there and knew if they did some bullshit they were getting an ass whooping.
FYI there is nothing special about being an active parent in your kids life. Most parents I have dealt with are exactly that. Where are you from?
I didn't fight in school. I fought after school and out of school. I have fought my friends and we made up five minutes later. I have seen kids fight playjng sports and then walk home together. I have seen entire families fight in one form or another because one neighbor was making too much noise. And.. This shot ain't happeneinfg in the "hood.". Upper middle class/upper class neighborhoods that i grew up in and it ain't all black folks. So, I don't think it is possible for kids to not fight at some point because humans fight. It is the venue in which they fight. Usually the kid who doesn't fight is the one who got his/her ass whooped.

Of course their are times when your kid is provoked. My son had a kid steal his football gloves out of his bag and then was parading around with them during lunch. My son had to muster every ounce of discipline to not whoop his ass. The school has a policy no matter if you are at fault or not and you get in a fight your kicked off the sports team.
He went to the Dean and let him handle it.
Even if my son decided to fight that kid I'm confident he would have stopped when an adult showed up.
And this is totally different from that video. I fought my buddies out of school too..playing basketball and paintball. My best friend had to try and push my eye out because I was banging his head into the floor.
But we would never act that way in the presence of an adult or school. I guess that's the issue I have with that video.
