Thats where I disagree with so many of you...the "power" that so many brothas claim that rappers have.
Rappers have no more power over their consumers than Microsoft has over people who own the X-box or the NBA has over people who favor a particular NBA team.
My point is that Rap music is apart of the entertainment industry!
The definition of industry is:
1. Commercial production and sale of goods.
Take consumers with a grain of salt and take these business men rappers who are NOT "ARTIST" with a grain of salt.
Stop giving them so much damn influence.
The only reason that rappers appear to have so much influence is that we have a generation of kids being raised by the state (not by mom and dad).
Mom and dad are either too busy making money or being influenced by the media and entertainment industry in one form or fashion themselves.
