Money Advice: Where should you put your savings?

Personally, I keep most of my cash which constitutes emergency fund, anticipated tax bills and SHTF insurance in a HYSA and use Ally. Now there are others like SoFi, Marcus by GoldmanSacks and CitBank. When inflation was high as hell, I was getting around 4.2%. Doesn't sound like much but do a comparison between what a brick and mortar offers vs an online bank (less overhead; higher yields).

The investment vehicles that lock your funds in like Bonds, CDs and the like are good if you have a good strategy and don't need the money right away. The Step Bond strategy I have heard investors using seems to work for some.

Unless you plan on adding more money on a regular basis $3200 isn't going to do shit. Might as well leave it in the bank and pay some bills

What's your time horizon? How soon do you need to spend money? You can get 10% over 3-5 years with a 6.5% dividend with the right high yield fund. If you have a longer time horizon I would be more aggressive.
