why not just encapsulate it as "multimedia"?
a lot is involved with video/film editing.

motion graphics, 3d, flash, compositing, etc.

...word although I think there is a photoshop sub forum but what you suggested I think may draw people by catching their attention on any one of the various fields in multimedia causing them to participate thus allowing the threads not to go dormant after awhile.
