I agree that her "activism" began in a place of her serving herself, she was unrealistic and delusional in calling for a boycott, she's rash and impulsive, makes terrible decisions and talks way too much.

After her crusade the past few years, attacking anyone who didn't give her her way, etc. including some prominent black people, I really started to sour on her. It seems like she is desperate for attention, and is struggling with the fact her career is on the down side, and has to play everything out in the microphone. People like that, I frankly don't care what happens to her career, and thats just me being honest.
if you tell me Mo had a script that was as interesting as Train Wreck and it never saw the light of day - I'm there with her. If you tell me she has the fan base of Amy - I'm there. I don't particularly like Amy, but in comparison to numbers Mo is not on that level. She is not funny like that. Neither is Amy but she has a working formula right now - and still getting less than Dave and Chris Rock. Mo turned her fame into movies and critical acclaim. She should be proud - but not satisfied. At the same time no one rocks with her comedy like that. She's an average to bad investment in that regard IMO.

Look, I feel no way about Monique. Before this she had not crossed my mind in years. I do not find her funny. I think she is obviously a very talented actress and clearly deserving of the accolades and awards she's accumulated over the years. Im not a fan but she's family so I wish her the best.
However, what she pulled here is some bullshit. Its a slap in my face if you use my people's struggle so you can shame your way into a bigger paycheck. Im sorry Im gonna call it like I see it at that point.
