Skip questioned how could the NFL cancel the game when the game was so important to playoff implications.
A game of that magnitude that was crucial to the regular season outcome.
Then followed up with "Oh by the way, finishing the game seems irrelevant now".
If finishing the game was "Irrelevant" and the health of Hamlin was the most important thing.
Then completing the game, playoff implications and the magnitude of completing that game so late in the season would've never been mentioned.
But you're free to believe it's because people hate Skip, but you'd be wrong.
I agree with most of this. I said he shouldn't have mentioned finishing the game. I was trying to answer a question by another poster. I think the hate for Skip had something to do with someone of those who jumped on him. Not all or most, but definitely some were extra triggered because of the messenger. I don't think you would've seen as much anger directed toward Sharpe. Skip is a seasoned vet and should've known better.
