any physical sport wehtr is boxing, mma or football
where u are allowed to hit somebody can turn deadly
athletes have made peace with that

This the most sensible shit you have posted in years.

Why are you spreading Russian disinformation on BGOL by attacking me? This is affecting national security and public health of the U.S.

I am debating to put you in a disposition matrix, changing your disposition code to K.

The younger generation grew up like this, softcore; while I was in the heat 10-12 hours a day playing an actual sport. They are in an air conditioned gym or playing virtual sports, riding some battery powered vehicle all over the place.

The NFL may in the future need to consider flag/non contact football because each generations is getting weaker physically. I am dusting these youngling on my hardcore physical job, who are constantly calling off due to body aches; begging me for help constantly. We had a couple collapse and I was thinking it was somebody older, I see this youngling on the ground clutching.

I was riding my bike, running outside all day long, than progressing to sports conditioning my heart long before some millennials even sees some action. No wonder Tom Brady is still playing dominating the younger generation, they want him to retire to limit exposure of their softness.

The conditioning of your heart is a life long process starting at an early age, if you are riding a couch playing video games, than you are screwed, there is no catch up later to fix this damage.

The whole Skip tweet reminds me of when Owen Hart fell from the rafters of a STADIUM , audience members watched his neck snap after hitting a turnbuckle, and Vince McMahon said "the show must go on" and continued the show.

I'm not saying Skip is right but if you've watched any contact sport or sport entertainment in the last 60 years you know very well that this POV is not taboo. It's only bc ppl have a way to voice their opinions is why this is getting traction. Glad that the players of both teams banded together. Brave New World.

The defender shouldn't feel guilty, it was a regular hit.

No one knows how a hit will affect one's body.

He may feel sorry and wish it didn't happen, but he shouldn't feel guilty and punish himself for a regular tackle.

Of course but being human he probably will

Boxers feel like that all time

Some kill themselves because of it

from sport perspective yeah i hear u
it wasnt his intend to kill

but u just made my point with this ''No one knows how a hit will affect one's body.''
the game in general is violent so u have to expect serious injuries
like boxer know that the minute they step in the ring it could be the last.
but they still going in and punch on each other

Of course but being human he probably will

I'm with you but boxers punch, in that situation their punch or accumulation of punches caused a death.

They're entitled to feel guilty but it's not their fault either.

A tackle's a tackle, there was nothing malicious or special about that tackle.

The NFL was started in 1920, it's going on 103 years and that was the first time in the history of the game that that happened.

I'm sorry but it's not on the defender, just my opinion.

Happened 50 years ago. Player died on the field at the end of a Lions/Bears game.

Thank you for the correction.

It apparently wasn't a hit that caused Chuck's death.

So it's still the first time a hit caused a player to receive CPR on the field in the same situation as Hamlin.

On Oct. 24, 1971, Chuck Hughes, 28, a wide receiver for the Detroit Lions, took the place of an injured teammate in the fourth quarter of a game against the Chicago Bears. With the Lions down 28-23, Hughes caught a 32-yard pass — his first catch that season — and was tackled. Several plays later, with 62 seconds left in the game, he fell facedown to the ground, clutching his chest.

He had suffered a fatal heart attack. Frantic attempts to revive him, including medical personnel pounding on his chest, were unsuccessful. People in the stadium watched in shocked silence as a stretcher wheeled him away.

An autopsy revealed that Hughes had undiagnosed heart disease and that a blood clot in a clogged artery had dislodged, possibly from a hit he took during the game. The autopsy also showed that it was most likely his second heart attack; the first seemed to have gone unnoticed. He had been hospitalized seven weeks before for what doctors told the family appeared to be a spleen, lung or kidney injury,

Skip and Shannon play roles on some debates like Brady and Lebron but most of their debates they are saying how they really feel, Shannon purposely or was told by the producers to stay home yesterday because he was going to really go at Skip about that tweet and Skip being the cac he is wasn't gonna admit he was wrong just like he didn't yesterday. Skip said yesterday that his boss called him that night about the tweet and the backlash he was getting and then gonna sit up there today and say nobody on ESPN had a problem with his tweet

and more importantly Skip had to have known Shannon had a problem with the tweet, so to say nobody had a problem with it was asinine. Shannon is telling you he had a problem with it.

As if he normally gets calls/text at 9pm to clear up his tweet.

I wonder when Shannon's contract is up.

It is a problem I am noticing all over the place, not just Damar dropping on the field. We are constantly having ambulances called out to my job resuscitating some youngling that just collapsed at Amazon. Why did a team not pickup Terrell Owens? He could have greatly reduced the workload for the younger rookies.

They need to reduce the schedule to 14 games with 12 minute quarters. This is how we adjust for the younger workers coming onboard just reduce their workload at Amazon. Using older workers to reduce the workload of younger weaker workers.

Unfortunately, I have seen paddles being used all the time, this is nothing new with their shirt cutoff at Amazon. Look at how Tyreek is struggling to breath with angina pain.

because they need a real strike to get shit and stop conceding

That shit with the pension at 55 and dropping the monthly amount. :smh:
The sport that got it right is baseball they strike everytime a demand is not met from salaries, pension, and benefits. Back in 1994 the World
Series was canceled because of a strike. The NFL players have that kind of leverage but don’t use it

From 22k to 4k a month? 3 years playing? Folks who qualify for social security disability can not be considered disabled by the NFL?

Man, we all knew the NLF had the worst union, but this shit is bad for even them. This some 3 stooge negotiating OR the NFL having plants(sellouts) in the union. FOH. Terrible.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it here cause I havent read any pages but Im surprised that all these reports keep mentioning the cardiac arrest but never mention being brain dead.

After 3-4 minutes of ur brain not getting oxygen (they said they were performing CPR for 9+ minutes), then ur technically brain dead.

I hope i wrong but my brother was on life support for a month. He was deemed brain dead and had the machine breathing for him. After a couple weeks, he was able to breath on his own without a machine but was still considered brain dead.

So it was hella confusing because they say if ur brain dead that you cant breath on your own but he was able to but they still said he was brain dead.

So I truly hope im wrong and that this situation isnt similar but from what ive read and seen on TV, i think its a strong possibility and for some reason no one mentions it.
I thought about that when I read he had to be intubated, basically he wasn’t getting any oxygen. :smh:

I just saw on Facebook they said people were criticizing Tee Higgins trying to say he was to blame for what happened to Hamlin, one report said Bart Scott outright said he was, I've been looking for his comment but can't find it. The article probably was just clickbait
