I don't understand why they would allow Chael Sonnen to talk his way into another championship fight.

Honestly because the guys Dana called before him (probably Forrest Griffin among them) didn't want the fight. Sonnen's done nothing to earn the shot but answer the phone but when everyone else decides it's not in their best interest to fight the second best fighter in the world on short notice, that's all you need to do.

Dana figured he could say "jump" and Jones would say "how high, boss?". Didn't happen that way.

Look how long GSP's held his belt hostage with injuries. In his last 10 fights he only has 3 stops and a TKO loss to Matt Serra; the rest were decisions. He walks around big enough to meet Anderson Silva at 185lb, but the want Silva to go down to fight GSP -- even though Silva already has to cut down from LH to make MW. This shit is so blatantly rigged for entertainment purposes, it doesn't even feel like a real sports league, sometimes. It's like watching Monday night RAW rotate champions and villains. The mere facts that nearly the entire roster of 20 fighters are living check to check in the UFC, so much so that Bones not fighting Sonnen sends their world into a tailspin, is an indication of how well Dana's NOT paying his fighters. Jones turned down an unqualified bum to rematch the #1 contender instead, but still gets treated like a coward and a Judas? Word. He took it to another level on Greg Jackson. Called dude a "weirdo" and said he should never be interviewed by anyone again. That can't sit well with Jones -- who really respects Greg Jackson. The irony is, for all of Dana's talk about Jones being unprofessional, his tirade is wildly unprofessional. And Chael Sonnen is clearly his new "company guy". Dana White flatout said Chael Sonnen doesn't deserve the bout and shouldn't be in there on 8 days notice, anyway. But... no one else would step up and take the fight, so he gave it to Chael. That's his story and he's sticking to it. Though, I call bullshit. Dana White is furious that Jones isn't aiding him in forcing an inferior product on fight fans than what they paid to see. I haven't read the posts so some of this might have been said, but I don't blame Jones for 3 reasons:

1) Its unprofessional to ask the CHAMP to fight a guy on short notice.
2) Chael didn't earn a shot.
3.)Chael is getting TESTOSTERONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY
4.)Chael has been an asshole but still eating good.

There is absolutely nothing for Jones to gain from this fight.The only people that have anything to gain are Chael(gets a BS title shot) and the UFC(gets to keep Jones on the main card).
