No, the inability to pay rent isn't exclusive to citizens. Illegals and corporations might have problems too. To that I say, oh well. Citizens first. I'd strip down the corporate bailouts too. Citizens and legal immigrants would be first in line with my bill.

This whole crisis really should open people eyes to how many workers living check to check, part time, freelance, resturant and hotel staff, cleaners, independent contractors etc etc

I wouldn't feel too sorry for them...

2) Trust... they will be using EIN numbers getting those stimulus small business loan grant from banks where they'll have a former immigrant in position to pass the app through approvals.
All while we going to have tens of thousands of legit small business owners not taking advantage. All because we got to research and read and fill out paperwork which most not going to do...BUT learning bs dances and songs and posting for clout on Instagram and Tik Tok and Facebook and all these other crazy things wasting time, but getting free money by just applying ourself and using some of our resources and our resources helping us... just sadly ain't happening at the rate it should.
Only thing we can do is get some Financial gurus from the bgol fam and try to help each other understand how Each person in each situation and small and large business owners who are sole proprietors or who have corporations can take advantage of this stimulus money and turn help others... Which is exactly what those immigrants who are short changed will do.

True, and to each his own and if you don't need 10k to 25k to boost your personal and biz cool, but I suggest you read up... reports from some senior officials is $10,000 will be forgiven after 6 months.
But even if not, we as black folks got a hard time dealing with the term loan because we get hit with high interest rates and cant get the million+ dollar loans ... but I know plenty of wealthy white cats that they have a lot of money and they still borrow money because they can, even broke... see the d trump story for reference.
The purpose here is even if you get a $10000 to $25000 approved loan .... we normally couldn't get under "good economic" (show 3 to 5 years of tax documents with good credit) standards and because we have to put up the other 20% or 30% LTV in cash of an SBA loan and also we would get approved with only terms of 5 to 7 years max where these loans are supposed to be amortized out for 30 years for lower monthly payments...
And some of us if we can get a $10,000 loan I don't care if it is for 30 years or not we can flip that quick and pay it off in about a year or two but the problem is getting the money to start with for many of us... and "us" ain't all the bgol ballers
let's be clear.What some immigrants do is they'll qualify for the 300k 80% LTV SBA loan, but they still need that 20% cash and that 20% will come from some of their family and friends who get the small $10k to 15k loans and from their family in their country. Next thing you know they are able to put this $300,000 loan they were able to get on a 3 million dollar property such as gas station and hotels, etc.
I once had a guy from India I was cool with break this down for me and it change my whole perspective on some immigrants especially Indians as I'm quite sure Mexicans, Asians, etc. do the same.
it's not going to hurt anybody with a small business to apply and if you get approved for up to $25000 without showing any documentation or not good credit or being black or any reason that the bank normally wouldn't loan you that type of money, at least a month or two from now, you going to be in a position to either need to take it or not.
As the old saying goes It's better to have it and not need it vs not have it and need it.
