I commented on another post and thought ... let me pop this in here to see what the true word is on it.

I've got an amazing concept that'll make a small team of 5 very rich in approx. 1 year. It's all legit. It addresses a sector of society that clammers to get something that is sparingly available to them; most of which aren't even qualified to have it, but their dream is so strong to have it they'll do just about anything to get it. No it's not drugs. This is perfectly legal and legit. The problem is, it's an idea/concept and w/out a way to protect it from being stolen, I don't really know how to present it safely. It's worth millions for sure eventually a P. Ditty Empire can be built from it.

I need:
Attorney
Web Designer
Accountant
Business Manager

How do you protect your idea and get help with your idea?

I feel you on the protection tip. Don't know much, but I do know that a non-disclosure agreement during development might help a lot. Non-competes for former employees, not so much.

First let me give you some real advice this shit is usually expensive. You have to ask yourself who are you protecting yourself from? No one has the passion for your idea that you do. If you feel it can be stolen take procautions like a patent or trademark. If I am an investor im not signing a non disclousre beat it my time is too valuable. Most people you talk to are not going to want to either. So my suggestion is built a proto-type if its an invention move forward as far as you can with out anyone else before you get to investor level or presentation level.

Get past the concept portion prepare a business plan a power point presentation something.

I don't buy what he is saying about the disclosure agreement. People will sign your agreement. Any other attitude is defeatist because it will stop you from starting.
