and we paying this white privilege hick cac 100m. Disgusting! He has the most job security and most guaranteed money of any average QB in NFL history meanwhile a 35 yr old Vick is a back up balling on prime time Thursday night..... Lions fans are fuckin cursed.... Detroit Lions are the fucking WORST franchise in the history of professional sports FML! :smh::smh::smh:

His brother is better than Matt Stafford. The Lions should have signed Vick. Megatron, Vick and if you all would have paid Shu. Shit y'all would be probably be in the big game .

LOL. Lions don't even keep a real backup on the roster.

Thats cause they coddle that simple minded sumabitch:angry:

Every draft and move they have made is to protect him and he still plays like ass staring down recievers:smh:

E do you realize that this dumb ass organization is so pitiful that we have NO PLAYERS on our roster from our 2010-12 draft?!?!?!?

Hell of this years draft the only one who has any skill or talent is amer the rest is straight garbage:puke:

Just when I thought this organization was ready to make the jump they get lucky and get a top 10 pick in the draft and then burn it on a TE that can't fuckin catch. :smh:

14-17 for 90 something yards. FOH. I haven't watched a second of this game but with those stats a nigga essentially throwing screen passes all game ain't better than Stafford

MANNN that ebron pick was the worse since millen took ernie sims at 9 overall:smh:

They were talking on 97.1 how they need to try and trade/sump staff before his contract extension kicks in

The Detroit Lions have ALWAYS operated that way. Mr. Ford didn't take that "life-long procedure"to the grave with him. He made it available for posterity--in the capable hands of Jr. Fords' major concern is to keep the stadium full, especially on Sundays! If the team wins--GREAT. If not. Oh well. At least we filled Ford Field. And try not to fire the head coach, and ALWAYS hang on to the QB--no matter how trying or frustrating that becomes. The Lions are heading to familiar territory, i.e., the basement. If only Jacksonville or Oakland were in the NFL-North. :smh::smh:

lol i know y'all wanna love Vick....but he's not. stop the BS honestly. They are the same guy Vick is older though. 15 years and he still has sloppy throwing mechanics.

Vick is better than every last backup in the league and half the starters in the league

That should tell u all u need to know

Hold on now lol. I like Mike Vick but are y'all really hyped up over 125 passing yards? I said last night I think it's just rust and he will be better but I don't know of of watch last nights game and get hyped up about his game. But he's no worse than 15 other starting qbs though.

Bruh same shit i was thinking. Dude averaged about 6 yards a pass. That ain't shit to be hype about

 Yeah man dudes tripping. I get it. We love Vick. Must of us grew up on him. But man........ Last night wasn't one of his best games is what i'll say. He played good enough to win but that vanilla ass game plan was some shit i'd expect Brandon Weeden to have.

man.. dude was known to struggle running routes and had bad hands in college.. why would you do that? no one was reaching for that dude....you could have easily picked him up in a later round..and who the fuck takes a fucking TE in the top 10 anyway?

Yeah it really was no reason at all to make that selection

None

To make matters fucking worse is they just re-signed Pettigrew to a long term deal BEFORE drafting Ebron :smh:. Like someone else said Aaron Donald should have been the pick. They knew they would lose at least one of Suh and Fairley ( lost both :hmm:) But the craziest shit if y'all remember the draft the fucking Lions didn't even use the entire 15 min clock when they were on the board to take Ebron didn't even discuss trading down or nothing just ran up there and took him. Fucking piece of shit franchise :smh::smh::smh:

He did aiiight.... managed the game well and didn't lose the game for the team, but Fam had 124 yards passing. One Hundred Twenty Four Yards?!!?!

Balling? Reaching like a motherfucker to make your point on this one huh Cuz? :smh:

Another muthafucka that can't catch! Why do you type all all that money and then a top draft pick with TE?! :smh::smh::smh::smh:

I feel y'all pain

We have the iron man future hall of famer Jason Witten and we draft tight ends we know we won't use in the 2nd round every few years

The dudes can play but they won't get shine here

For instance put Gavin Escobar on the Lions he would be the starter

I don't understand teams drafting tactics

They on a different atmosphere though. They used our 1st round pick we gave them for Roy Williams and drafted Pettigrew and then drafted another tight end years later in the 1st. We a round worse than them. lol:

I don't even known of any good tight ends who were 1st round picks.

Most of them either be blocking tight ends in college or they be hoopers.

I personally don't think Escobar is shit. I think he's just raw. Martellus was like that too but atleast with Martellus we used his blocking to help our run game. Escobar can't even block to justify having him in the game over Witten or even with him. They'd rather have Hanna.

They are using firsts but 2nd rounders in the NFL are supposed to be starting players for you as well

And Escobar is a pass catching tight end they knew that when they drafted him but he ain't taking passes from Witten so there really was no point

You just drafted Hanna the year before he is showed to be decent

Wasted pick

And you right most of the good tight ends aren't first round picks and that's now and historically speaking

Shit man some teams can't even get their 1st round picks to get on the field. Philly can't even do that. Taking a linebacker in the 2nd round is a safe pick it seems. Well for us anyway. Only ones I can think we even drafted were Carter and Lee in the 2nd round and it worked out well.

Drafting Fasano was stupid especially with a young Witten. Martellus was even more stupid because you knew these guys wouldn't get on the field. Escobar is a little less stupid since Witten's body is breaking down but shit it wouldn't shock me if Witten out lasts Escobar here.

They been promising a two tight end set for the longest and still ain't seen it except when Martellus was here and he was dropping passes and could only block.

Shit its probably in their best interest now with Dez hurt to go 2 or 3 tight end set. I trust their tight ends more than their receivers.

I smell a 4th round pick for Calvin Johnson trade coming soon.

:hmm:
