This is why no one takes boxing seriously anymore. The sport has turned into a joke. This was a glorified sparring match. Chavez didn’t even show up to fight and Paul is a trash boxer.
So this about to be "Drake vs Kendrick " again..
Boxing has lots of issues but this isn't one of them.
Most don't consider Jake's fight actual boxing, they're nothing but exhibitions and promotions for Jake.
We all know this, or should I say most of us.
Chavez was never ever even in his "prime" a exciting high work rate fighter. He just was able use his height and hydrate up after the weigh ins and lean on smaller fighters. He also rode off his daddys name. He was cherry picked by Jake Paul for a reason
Yep and people always screamed "LET YOUR HANDS GO" when he was fighting.
Perhaps when Paul knocks out Anthony Joshua, people will recognize him as the real deal.
