I'm kind of confused to the hate Mike getting in here...not from you but in general. Mike was acting "hard" and shit? I never got that impression from him. I always felt the reason why he got on was because he was more of the everyday dude. He wasn't really rappin' about killin' niggas and on no fake tough guy shit. Atleast that's my perception of him.
I remember before he got on and him and Magno were running shit...straight hood favorites. Now niggas make fun of the "Who? Mike Jones" shit but everbody was rockin' that shit faithfully.
I never thought of him as a hoe but I look at him like I look at Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, Chingo Bling, etc. They not gangsta's but they don't act like they are either. Humble cats who everybody respect. But for whatever reason Mike sort of lost his steam when Trae got at him....
I never heard of Mike being a "hoe" but I did hear he sort of got the big head and was feeling himself but that's some he said she said shit.
In regards to what the OP posted, nobody really heard what Mike was saying but the shit rings true. How all them niggas from Flip who went platinum, Slim Thug who went gold, Paul who went platinum and Chamillionaire who went platinum all of a sudden not get any type of follow up without any problems? All them niggas had label problems because they blew up at the time when them 360 deals were becoming more frequent.
And they went at these niggas more than anyone else because these were the same artists who were already millionaires before they signed on a major. They wanted to cash-in on their hustle.
Its a shame what happen to the Houston rap game and I sit here and look at Drake and ASAP Rocky over here stealing the same shit that all these niggas helped birth. To Drake's credit he always pays ode to the H but H-Town should be far more relevant than what it is.
