man cmon son, just stop with that shit. Mike was singing (one of the greatest voices from age 8 on ANY continent) and dancing..
There has never been a better combination PERIOD.
now I do like the females though!!! I do wish more music from the continent would have more low end bass. like on some reggae shit. Personal preference of course as I was born in the States.
Your statement would be a valid and informed one if you knew or
took time to learn about other black musicians, and to learn
about them with fairness. Michael Jackson was not really such
a great musician. His best music was on the album "Off the Wall";
by the time he was singing "Billy Jean", he was trying too hard
to pander to cacs, and his music was becoming rock and rollish...
Werrason has a full time band, and his instrumentalists are
better. His music is better. Michael, might as an individual,
be a better dancer, and even a better singer, though I do not
care for either's singing. ..However, I am talking about the
entertainment value, and in that regard, Werrason is far
much better.
Anyway, the better entertainer, by far is Werrason. Werrason
has dimensions to his show Michael Jackson could not ever imagine.
And Michael Jackson did not dance that much. I have watched his
concerts, and he would move from one end of the stage to the other,
stop, do a fancy move, kick his leg, and jerk his hips, move on...
In one Zairian song, there are more dances than in an entire Jackson]
concert. Here is a classic song by Werrason called "Kaskin". In the
sebene that starts at 5:45, the progression of dances called by Celeo
is "Mutiki", "Sele ba mamans sele", "Ebetanaka", "Situtala", "Souffre",
"Buya Zekete", "Tokoliya mbisi", "Kota kota".. And that is in just
a 4 minute sebene... He could easily have gone another 25 minutes on
the sebene, invoking different dances...
