After watching the video yesterday and the focus in the Diana's video on the legs, I thought so too...

so your saying MJ couldn't possibly have been influenced by Ross's showmanship and professionalism in real time adverse conditions 5 years before that music video but instead he leap frogged back 3 decades to recreate some shit he saw a white man do on a sound stage in a movie in 1951.

Thats the only possibility right??

Not at all. I'm only restating what he has said in interview after interview about who his idols and influences were. You don't like it that they're white men take it up with MJ.

of which diana ross can clearly be one of them as well as fred astaire and gene kelly..its just in this case i would go with ross as a influence more than them.
