Every NFL scout said dude was unimpressive in the columbine (sp) draft workout at every skill required of him. He was slow in his sprints and his vertical leaping abilities sucked for someone at his position. At his position he is more of a tweenier which translates to mean he's more heart than ability. That doesn't translate well into the NFL.
The Rams were at the bottom when it comes to attendance, so drafting the 1st openly gay player, your gonna have people talking about you which is good for business.
