Bosh said he can't be CB4 anymore. In the off season thread we were saying Bosh was gonna have an MVP season. It's still early in the season but I expected him to come out the gait running.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Mario Chalmers scored 22 points, Chris Bosh ended his shooting slump and added 15 points and nine rebounds, and the Miami Heat snapped a three-game losing streak by beating the Brooklyn Nets 95-83 on Monday night.

With Dwyane Wade out for a third straight game due to a strained left hamstring, Chalmers remained in the starting lineup for the second consecutive night and keyed the finishing spurt for the Heat. He converted a three-point play, added another free throw and then set up Bosh for a 3-pointer that turned a four-point lead into a 91-80 advantage with 1:23 left.

Bosh finished 5 for 11 after shooting 12 for 49 during the losing streak, including 2 for 17 in a loss to Milwaukee on Sunday.

The boys bounced back on Brooklyn tonight. Bosh played a lil better but I still wanna see more production. They got clips Thursday night on TNT.

I don't think Riley tried to sell Lebron on those signings

I think Riley saw the writing on the wall that Bron was leaving

And picked them cats up.. mcRibs play but coming back from an injury. Granger on the other hand is toast

The Heat rolling through east like Decepticons....got Bosh in Megatron beast mode....

At the end of the day them niggas needed each other
I disagree.

Last season Lebron competed for a title and lost. This year he will do the same.

Last year Wade and Bosh competed for a title and lost. This year they are trying to get above 500.

Heat-Grizzlies Preview

The Memphis Grizzlies had been cruising along before coming up short in back-to-back games, including a rare home defeat last time out.

The slumping Miami Heat are also headed in the wrong direction.

Memphis and Miami both try to end losing streaks Sunday at FedExForum.

The Grizzlies (15-4) had proven nearly unbeatable through the end of last month before opening December on the wrong foot. Memphis fell 105-96 at Houston on Wednesday, then saw its 22-game home winning streak come to an end two nights later in a 107-101 loss to San Antonio.

The Grizzlies allowed the Spurs to shoot 14 of 25 from 3-point range for their worst defensive display of the season.

"We just have to do a better job of containing the dribbler," point guard Mike Conley said. "If we can do that, then hopefully we can cut down on the easy baskets."

Marc Gasol had 28 points and matched a season high with 12 rebounds while Conley and Tayshaun Prince scored a combined 43.

"I thought we were going to get them, but it didn't go that way," said Gasol, who played through a knee injury. "All we can do is try to get our group together and try to beat Miami."

The Heat (9-10) are on the verge of their longest losing streak since 2010-11 after suffering their third consecutive defeat, 109-85 at Milwaukee on Friday. Dwyane Wade had 28 points and Chris Bosh added 21, but nobody else scored more than nine for Miami.

"Offensively, we couldn't score the basketball," said Wade, whose team was held to 86 points or fewer for the third time in four games. "You have to put the ball in the basket to win games, and we went for a long time without scoring."

The Heat were also outrebounded 45-20, collecting the fewest rebounds by any team this season. Miami is averaging an NBA-low 35.5 rebounds.

"We're either going to change it to give ourselves a chance to win or we're not," Wade said.

Miami has allowed its last three opponents to shoot a combined 54.9 percent, including 31 of 60 from 3-point range. The Bucks shot 56.5 percent for their best mark this season.

Despite their recent woes, coach Erik Spoelstra isn't ready to make any changes to the lineup just yet.

"Right now, I can't say if there will be any adjustments," he said. "I have to get into the film and look at everything. We'll go from there."

Things aren't about to get any easier in Memphis, where the Heat have dropped three straight and eight of 11. Miami will likely need more from Wade, who's averaging just 14.3 points on 29.4 percent shooting during his last three visits.

Wade has scored at least 20 in each of his last eight games overall, a stretch during which he's averaging 24.1 on 56.9 percent from the field.

Gasol leads the Grizzlies with 19.8 points per game, way up from his career mark of 13.7. He's already posted 10 20-point efforts after recording eight in 59 games last season.

Gasol is averaging 19.3 points during a three-game stretch against Miami.

Heat guard Norris Cole has missed the last two games with a cold, leaving his status for Sunday unclear. Luol Deng is also uncertain to be available after sitting out Friday with a right hand contusion.

Deng had averaged just 8.0 points on 23.8 percent shooting in the previous three games.

Bosh rallies Heat to 103-97 victory over Suns
Associated Press

PHOENIX -- Chris Bosh helped relieve Dwyane Wade's headache Tuesday night.

Bosh scored 10 of his 34 points in the fourth quarter, including seven straight down the stretch, and the Miami Heat beat the Phoenix Suns 103-97.

Luol Deng scored 23 points and Wade, dogged by a headache during the game, added 16 for the Heat.

"That was mostly part of the reason I came out aggressive in the second half," Bosh said. "I was going to do it anyway but when (Dwyane) let me know I said I'd see what I can do, get some buckets and get the team going offensively."

Marcus Morris gave the Suns a 91-90 lead with 3:17 to go. But Bosh answered, sinking a 14-foot jumper. He then got a pass from Wade while driving the lane for a layup and made a wide-open 3-pointer with 1:49 to go, lifting the Heat to a 97-91 lead.

"What we did well tonight was stay in the game to the fourth quarter," Deng said. "Lately we haven't been in games in the fourth quarter."

Gerald Green hit an off-balance 3-pointer in the right corner to pull the Suns back to 97-94, but Deng answered with a 3-pointer on the ensuing possession.

"A couple of times they hit 3s in crunch time," Bosh said. "They hit some crucial ones but we answered right back after that and executed with simple plays."

Miami snapped a four-game losing streak.

"There were a couple times they were able to get the lead up to five and, unfortunately, in previous games that tended to go double figures," Miami coach Erik Spoelstra said. "But we were able to execute, stay in the moment and show more toughness that we have in the last handful of games."

Marcus Morris scored a career-high 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting. The reserve was 5 for 6 from 3-point range.

Green added 19, including five 3-pointers, and Markieff Morris had 17 for the Suns.

Phoenix, which was playing its fourth game in five nights, has lost three straight.

"Whether it was the fourth game in five nights, we weren't thinking straight, especially in the fourth quarter," Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said. "You've got to be able, when you're tired, to really bear down and we just didn't have it there in the fourth quarter."

ISAIAH NEARING RETURN

Hornacek said guard Isaiah Thomas, who has missed eight straight games with a right ankle contusion, could return on Friday. The Suns had hoped for Thomas to come back against Miami but he was unable to go. Thomas is averaging 15.5 points a game.

FAMILIAR FACE REAPPEARS

Wade is in his 12th season but he's rarely been seen in Phoenix. Thanks to injuries over the past few seasons, Wade was playing in Phoenix for the first time since 2010.
