MI-5 vs. 24 (no porn)

Just watched a particularly good MI-5 episode tonight (I Spy Appocalypse) and it got me wondering how many other people watch it, and how you think it measures up against 24.

Although I have not been able to watch 24 much this season, it has been one of my favorites. MI-5 I have seen a lot less of, but, everytime I watch it, it's damn good. I think I still lean towards 24, or at least the best seasons of it that I remember... but what do you all think?

Yeah, ...it's shown on PBS here in the NJ area, but I may have been wrong in assuming that it is shown on pbs stations around the country....
Even in this area though, it would be easy to miss since it's not on network or cable though...

I used to watch "MI5" some years ago. It wasn't as great in its last season after they "done away" with the 3 main characters from the first 3 seasons.

The show's stories were pretty tight and very subtle in that British sort of way. Everything wrapped within an hour.

But what gives "24" the major edge is it's cliffhangers, and twists.
Like that shit that happened with Tony tonight.

After all that went down the last few episodes, that's going to be an all week water-cooler moment.

"24" all the way for me.

It's a british show and PBS shows it, so it would depend where you are. In NJ I see it these days on WLIW which is a Long Island, NY pbs station.

MI:5, believe it or not, is slightly more ruthless.

But not nearly as intense.
