To be honest man cats target Soulja cause he's an easy target...Just like when everybody attacked Bad Boy, and attacked Ja Rule. They know dude aint got the image to attack them and do any damage.

My only problem about it is this...WHEN DID THIS KID GET ON ANY TRACK,YOUTUBE,RADIO STATION AND STATE THAT HE WAS NICE ON THE MIC, OR THE BEST OR ANYTHING? Never to my knowledge.

To be honest damn near every song is a dance anthem. You ask the average SB fan (who is probably under 18) what do they about dude his dances or his raps? Guarantee you they'll say the dance. Cats talking about "Its killing hip hop"....Nigga please. Cristal popping, Ice rocking, and Bentley driving killed "hip hop"..Hip Hop aint been hip hop since Will Smith went platinum. Hip Hop was for love, rap is for money.

The kid is getting paid because all of his songs he had before the record deal. He makes his own beats and videos...He obviously have to give Collipark percentages, but the kid is doing quite okay. Alot of these dudes could learn something as far as the plan. He makes his own shit and keeps label costs at little to none...Sorta like how Akon came in the game and that whole Trouble CD was already done....

Personally I treat the lil dude like a Hannah Montana record I know its not aimed at me. So Until I see or hear dude saying he's the best or he's the nicest I got no comment. But I will say as I've always said, I'd rather see my kids doing they Souljah Boy dance than shooting niggas like a Soldier. Whats fucking with these older niggas though is that they see this dude with minimal lyrical talent and he getting money, and they cant get that and they trying their ass off to stay relevant.

That's a part of the history of music. Every Jazz legend or 70's and 80's artist isn't rich and set for life. Some do behind the scenes work, other get into different fields altogether . Shit I know for a fact that Kool Herc is looking for work. The point is that hip hop could have thrived as a culture but it got corrupted by a corrupt music business and nobody cared because they were getting a pay off. I can't even scratch someones voice without a 1000 fucking phone calls.

When you spend money on a credit card there's always a max out point and a time when the bill is due. The Puffy's of hip hop who knew what an emcee battle was, who knew what a DJ comp was now see a whole generation that doesn't know and doesn't give a shit. They don't see anything special about hip hop other than the chance to get paid. You take that from the conversation and they don't understand why anyone would even rap. That's their legacy and they know it.

Let me clarify. I was not saying that Method Man is upset because Soulja Boy is more successful than him cause that isn't true.
