The opening scene of the Bupkis series is a funny Pornhub VR moment that Edie Falco interrupts ...

im still gonna cop about 3 just for bragging rights.............lolI sit on my couch in front of a 65 inch tv turned off and scroll youtube on my phone
that was always coming...wont be a need for a tv in a minute.................
and then movie theaters will be obsolete......that was always coming...
Apple is one of the largest banks in the nation.$3500 ? FOH
Plenty of people don't watch sports? You're not watching a Super Bowl or a good movie on no phone. I guarantee you that.
People not buying dat shit.Definitely cutting edge! But if they don't bring that price down, they're not gonna pull many users from Meta.
I haven't used itunes for anything for 10 yearsLet me guess you have to go thru iTunes

The battery life is going to be addressed and improved in subsequent versions.$3,500 for two hours of battery life?
Pass……for now.
Impressive for a first Gen headset tho.
I can wait until second gen.
Having "Pro" in the name def means they will have something cheaper later.
This is a Beta device for sure.
I’m still excited to see where this goes.
The VR uses your retina to unlock, nobody will ever know what you’re looking at
Yep, happens to me as well.I read somewhere that like 70% of people can’t use those headsets without getting carsick. I know I’m one of them.
The whole idea is a bad one. I’m surprised Apple decided to go in this direction.
Bro, you must live alone- that, or you're independently wealthy. 7 bands just to netflix & chill wit a chick? (or she gotta have one herself)wont be a need for a tv in a minute.................
But they ain't paying 3k for that shit.People pay 1k for damn cell phones
I agree. I have the gen 1 Oculus Quest (no comparison from a technical point of view or cost either) and I have watched Netflix on it just to see how it feels and I dont regard these devices as TV replacements. I just don't see it outside of a certain niche audience. To me it changes the communal and passive nature of watching TV shows and movies. I wondered if they could replace projectors due to how large the screen appears to your eyes but the whole home theater thing is very communal. Nobody builds a home theater with the intention of sitting their alone.Bro, you must live alone- that, or you're independently wealthy. 7 bands just to netflix & chill wit a chick? two or more people can't watch a show/movie at the same time? kids fighting over who is gonna use the thing?
it's a good start, but they can come see me when it does more and they get that consumer version (ie: less expensive one) out in the field.
Not the same comparison. A phone is something you use and relatively need or depend on everyday to function. Having a VR headset us for pleasure and entertainment with the likely increase that your interest in the headset will fade or decrease overtime. Which means your usage will decrease and it will start to collect dust. Those factors don't justify spending over 3K.People pay 1k for damn cell phones
Bruh, put people on a payment plan and they will buy anythingBut they ain't paying 3k for that shit.
