In discussions with some friends there was a point Made which I actually agree with was that playing at North Carolina in some ways actually altered Jordan's overall development because of the team he played on. Whereas LeBron took an alternate route and his development what sort of ended up in the same place. At North Carolina Jordan played with Sam Perkins James Worthy he wasn't the star of the team essentially. That's why when he hit that shot to win the championship it was such big news. Once he got to the league he was in a system where his natural abilities could flourish but he was put in a position where he didn't have the star support that he was accustomed to playing with at North Carolina so we got to see the exceptional Talent but he had to mature in terms of his play to adapting to winning without period that's why he struggled so much prior to Pippin and crew coming to Chicago. The Chicago championship years mirrored in terms of play Dynamic to a point the North Carolina years however since he had come into his own based on his natural talent and he was now the star he flourished. In terms of LeBron because he didn't go to college and have other Stars around him he was more equipped mentally to take a team full of average players Andover achieve. He had not developed that dependency on having other stars to offset certain things so he was better equipped for the heavy lifting especially going into postseason. Once they both got star players it shows in their overall success. Even though you have to count Jordan's Wizards years I look at them from a different perspective because I truly believe Jordan felt in Chicago every year they can win a championship and was driven for that but once he got to the Wizards I think that was just more that he wasn't ready to retire but he never really felt like they would go far. what is durant career without russel?? you can't compare draft picks..people get drafted every yr..what dosen't happen every yr is so called superstars jumping ship to play with other superstars cause they can't cut it without them...lebron has 6 yrs with multiple superstars and only 2 chips to match..when lebron is surrounded by great/good players he still fails..lebron never faced and all time great or dynasty in his conference..meanwhile jordan had to play vs two..celtics/pistons

It would definitely have been difficult for LeBrons Cavs team to be as successful in the 80s the way they were comprised just as much as it would be difficult for Jordan to be as dominant or those Bulls teams as dominant in todays game. Players are more athletic now so Jordans surpremacy in that arena wouldnt be as pronounced and the defensive tactic they used then wouldnt be allowed so they wouldnt be as effective their either...
