MERGED: McCain picks PALIN

she was introduced and within the 1st 30 min, the bad news started coming out:

1. she's currently under investigation for trying to get her ex brother-in-law fired from the state troopers. when he wasn't fired, she fired the state safety commish.

2. she doesn't know anything about the VP spot:

Larry Kudlow of CNBC’s “Kudlow & Co.” asked her about the possibility of becoming McCain's ticket mate.
Palin replied: “As for that VP talk all the time, I’ll tell you, I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day? I’m used to being very productive and working real hard in an administration. We want to make sure that that VP slot would be a fruitful type of position, especially for Alaskans and for the things that we’re trying to accomplish up here for the rest of the U.S. , before I can even start addressing that question.”

3. and yet one more quote about Mrs. Palin that i find rather funny:

“You can take the girl out of the valley, but you can’t take the valley out of the girl”. Wasilla is situated in the Matanuska Valley and the whole valley is deemed by Alaskans as the most red-neck part of our state and quite the butt of many, many jokes.

the VP debates should be fun. at least she's pretty and i can imagine fucking her the whole time she's talking. :hmm:

Re: McCain picks a white bitch.. UH-OH!!

There is one key way this may backfire on him. He may have just solidified every Clinton supporter to Obama's side.

Clintons supporters desperatly wanted her as the first women president. I hate to bring this up but McCain is up there in age, his veep sadly has a realistic chance to succeed him during the 1st term. Having the mere possiblity of this unknown chick becoming the first women president will not sit well with Clinton supporter. Those who planned on voting for McCain or even just sitting out, could well be unified now to Obama's side.

That is mos def wishful thinking. Granted only time will tell but every reaction from PUMAs ive heard since this morning has been like a prayer delivered straight from G-O-D. Look at the flip side. Say the flip scenario happened and Hills straight snubbed O for the VP-then in an attempt to agitate the rift Mccain were to pick Colin. How many of us that already wouldnt be votin for Billary woud be that much more enthused to be for voting for a black man who happens to republican? We all know the answer. All the justifications bout who is experienced and qualified is all a smokescreen cause folk like who they like and dislike who they dislike, period. Hillicrats are votin on emotion just like Obamites and arent even considering the collateral damage that could result in repugs winnin -like 3 mo ultra-con supreme court justices.:puke: Erybody love playin the gotcha game.

Another draw back Hillary was laying low,do you think she will sit back and let this no-name bitch take her shine? Hell to the naw, she bout to show her natural black ass in campagning for obama.

According to the board she aint nuthin but a ruthless bitch who undercut O at every step and would have prolly merked him if she were chosen as veep. If that was really her MO what motivation would she have to stick her neck out for O? Thats the thing unlike my bgol brethren I have always given Hills the credit she is due for being saavy, smart and a team player. I believe she will use her influence to minimize Palins appeal.

McCain only met Palin ONCE????

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/08/29/andrea-mitchell-john-mcca_n_122517.html

On MSNBC this evening Andrea Mitchell reported on how minimal John McCain's interactions with his choice for vice president, Sarah Palin, have been. According to Mitchell, McCain only met Palin once.

And as Think Progress is reporting, McCain Campaign spokesperson Nancy Pfotenhauer appeared on Fox News earlier today and was asked how well McCain knew Palin. Her answer to host Bill Hemmer:

You're running flat into the wall of my ignorance here, Bill. I truly have no indication whatsoever the extent of a relationship that exists with the Governor of Alaska.

Palin’s hubby and son not Republicans
By: Kenneth P. Vogel

Democrats may be blasting Sarah Palin as a doctrinaire conservative, and Republicans may be embracing her for the same reason, but her husband and oldest son are independents.

Or, more precisely, their party affiliation is listed as “undeclared” on voter registration records retrieved from the Alaska Division of Elections.

Todd Palin, husband of the Alaska governor, hasn’t been affiliated with a party since he first registered to vote while he was in his early 20s, in 1989 — the year after he married Sarah Palin. And Track Palin, their 19-year-old son, registered as undeclared when he became eligible to vote last year.

Todd Palin, a regular voter, could have cast his ballot for his wife in her 2006 Republican primary against incumbent Gov. Frank Murkowski because the Alaska Republican Party allows those registered undeclared and “nonpartisan” to vote in the party’s primaries.

Track Palin has yet to vote, according to the Division of Elections, while Bristol Palin, his 17-year-old sister, is not yet eligible to vote.

Sarah Palin is a registered Republican.

I think the Palin pick is for the Oil issue.

Alaskan VP will have Alaska Drilled for oil to feed on the "Oil addicted Americans"

I hope ya'll see this.

This might be their only way they might get a push in the polls.

They'll stil lose tho'

Re: Cnn's Jack Cafferty Asks Mccain does he undercut his own message by picking Palin

why are u white ppl keep saying shes hot? yall need glasses. dennis miller went on and on, really wanting to bone her. hannity said it was the perfect decision lol

Re: Cnn's Jack Cafferty Asks Mccain does he undercut his own message by picking Palin

Well, I'm not at all impressed by Palin.

The right wing is trying to pass her off as more experienced than Obama, but Alaska ain't much to govern. Obama's Chicago district actually has a larger population than the entire state of Alaska.

This truely is an obvious act of desperation.

Palin dissed veep job

Fri Aug 29, 11:22 AM ET

Count Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as one of the most surprised that she was chosen as running mate for Sen. John McCain.

In an interview just a month ago, she dissed the job, saying it didn’t seem “productive.”

In fact, she said she didn’t know what the vice president does.

Larry Kudlow of CNBC’s “Kudlow & Co.” asked her about the possibility of becoming McCain's ticket mate.

Palin replied:
“As for that VP talk all the time, I’ll tell you, I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day?"
:smh:

How does she fare in a VP Debate with fresh, quoted statements like this on the record??

why..so he can alienate HIS 18 million voters??

what does hillary bring to the table REALLY?? I want someone to answer that question seriously...in terms of the things he choose biden for how does hillary fit that bill?

Who is he alienating? The black vote? Come on dude, you know black people are going to support democrats no matter what. Having Hilary on the ticket would of made McCain choice that much harder. He basically gave away 12 million votes to McCain with choosing Biden.

BTW, Palin is now considered a wild card right now. I mean how do you actually attack her? She has way more sex appeal than mostly any woman in politics, she has experience in the Oil business, plus she is the Governor NOT A SENATOR. It doesn't matter how long she was, only because it doesn't matter how long Obama was in the Senate.

Please, tell me what a VP do EVERYDAY?

*since you are quick to post this shit*

why are u white ppl keep saying shes hot? yall need glasses. dennis miller went on and on, really wanting to bone her. hannity said it was the perfect decision lol

mccain could have picked boy george or dennis rodman and hannity would have said, "it is the perfect decision."

like everyone else, hannity does NOT know this woman.

furthermore, the female backlash will prove that this decision was absolutely horrible.

for the gop to think that mccain picking a female would lure over female voters BLINDLY is downright a slap in the face at female logic.

you DO know that obama has more supporters than just blacks right....if blacks were his ONLY base then he wouldn't be the nominee now..

and at this point is where hillary can step up (like she would actually:rolleyes:) and say that anyone voting for mccain because of palin clearly IS NOT doing it becuase she lost the primary..the ONLY thing that hillary and palin have in common is a vagina... democratic hillary supporters voting for mccain/palin is NOT in their political best interest. And hillary SHOULD tell them that..

She has to go head to head with joe biden on matters of the world affairs..not just issues in her state..

She has to answer the question of will she be ready to lead and go after the "evil doers" of the world..

there are ways to go after her..

Re: These white bitchs gonna tear Obama's ass up !!!! HA HA

At first I was like damn we in trouble ........but then as I did a little research... I said to myself I am going to send a thank you card to McCain for handing the keys to the white house to Obama/Bidden on a sliver platter......

Aint no way regardless if you are a Male or Female that a person can or even be consider to become a VP without no fucking experience inside the beltway (bka DC for yall non-MD/DC/VA residents)

#2 So much bs was raised about Obama's lack of experience - homeboy went to 2 Ivy League school- pass over some cushy ass jobs and went to the great state of Illinois and work from the bottom.. hell he even did a great job as state senator.. lost a election for congressman.. keep on top of his goal and got elected as US Senator.. he was in the right place at the right time.

#3 Obama is American as Apple Pie and Hot Dogs

#4 Obama pick an experienced fellow senator in Biden whom is what we would consider a Lifer in the Senate. Have yall even see Biden's credentials? Shyt you could fill up a book that would be thick as a Harry Potter's book

#5 Hillary fucked up and so did her husband.... they must have forgotten the golden rule - dont bite the hands that feeds you... but dont get me wrong I got mad love for the Clintons and I did lost a hell lot of respect for them after the way they sling some mud @ Obama but they realized they fucked up and by the time they realized that it was too late so they save face by kissing up to Obama.

#6 Hillary is going to get a cabinet position one way or the other - and you best believe she is going to make a case to Obama to utilized her to the fifth degree. If she doesnt do that - then aint no chance of her getting our support in 2012 or 2016 should Obama do back to back term

McCain is old school Washington and yes so is Biden but you compare the two and see how they vote on issues on the last fucking 8 years of the former governor of Texas. I am not even going to glorified the soon to be former occupant of the White House by his name.

This is a straight up bytch move and an act of desperation

I aint got no problem with a woman being President or VP for that matter but I got a problem with an inexperienced person running the country cuz that is putting the cart before the damn carriage!

Trust me we never have a problem with Women in power - ie good ole Margert Thatcher whom was the Prime Minister of England... so it isnt even that...

However Obama would be in big ass trouble if McCain have picked Conzi Rice or even Powell or that india dude who runs Louisanaia(sp) or a Lationo

I said it to my associates - this is going to be an interesting election because the sleeping giants have awoken

race and gender is going to be play to the fifth fucking degree in this election

do we want a Brother or a Woman who a heartbeat away from being President in the white house???

So in closing - if u aint register - go fucking register and vote cuz change is only going to happen if we support Obama not just because he a Black Man but because we need to get this country back on track like it was during the Clinton administration or we going to hell with gasoline drawers on!

real talk

and this shyt is funny as hell... I can even caption this mofo....

How Obama and crew react after they found out McCain pick a hockey momma from Alaska....

NEXT STOP....1600 PA AVE for Obama and crew!

Are the Republicans throwing the election????

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

I'm thinking the same thing.

this doesnt guarantee a victory for Obama folks....so calm down.
considering the pick.....i think some funny shit is about to happen.
doesnt seem like the Repubs put up much of a effort to find a good VP....wonder why.

Definitely seems that way. They had a plethora of more capable people.

Difference being that Colin is actually a qualified candidate with years of experience and leadership on an international scale unlike this unknown woman.

Republicans are purposefully throwing this election but my question is why? Is it b/c of the pending economic collapse? So they want Barack in office to have to deal with repairing the horrible economic effects? I'm not sure but something isn't right and this shit is suspect.

I don't like this saggy cheeked bitch. She's not cute either. Some of y'all niggas really actin thirsty.

She's against abortions in the most extreme ways, including rape and incest. So if a father rapes his own daughter they're just suppose to let the baby come out retarded as hell? Da fuck?
