I'm here for the same reason I keep an advisory board of platonic female friends and cousins, etc. For a different perspective and insight that will help me relate to and communicate with women--friend, foe or family. Not to mention seeing the world the way over half of the world sees it. Who can afford to ignore that?
Some dudes dismiss the idea out of hand that "a bitch can teach them shit."
I guess for them the only trustworthy woman in the world is their momma.
Shit I've been hurt and disappointed by women too--by men as well, honestly, though not in the same way--but I couldn't live my life thinking like that.
Call it simpin' or insight, I could care less.

I don't know what it is man. It started when I was 13 years old and one of my friends had this Snoop album called Doggystyle. After listening to the album a couple times I started getting into gangsta rap. Then a nigga was saying BEEYYOOOTCH like it wasn't no thang.
I grew up in the Bronx, NY and in the Dirty South. I'm a military brat and have lived in all sorts of neighborhoods, ghetto, upper-middleclass you name it so its not like I ain't been around.
Words are powerful, especially the n word. Especially the b word. Hearing grown-ups or kids my age curse, didn't influence me to curse and to use disrespectful words. It was listening to Snoop Dogg and reciting his lyrics that made cursing fun. That's what did it for me and I ain't stopped saying 'Fuck a beeyotch!' since. I don't even hate women or my fellow brothas dog.
Music is powerful and very influential. This is why I don't trip when I hear about older folks complain about rap music. I didn't curse even when everyone around me was until I really started paying attention to rap. Shit I grew up in the Bronx which is like the cradle of Hip Hop and it wasn't even a problem for me back then man. Also I was a kid so my parents would've whooped my ass anyway
So yeah man some people just can't help but to curse and say biotch and shit. It's like a bad habit like smoking. I don't curse in church and most of the time I don't curse in public and sometimes I don't curse at work but you know, I was in the military and you know thats what us military peeps do...curse up a storm. Shit. I really have no excuse for cursing. I have to make a conscience effort not to. I can hold intelligent conversations without cursing so its not that big of a deal.

I feel like cursing is a form of a expression. I don't actually see myself magically imposing some kind of curse on someone when I do it. I do believe in the Spiritual World and was raised in the Church so I know how you feel mang.

For instance, people say 'Oh whats-her-name went to a Christian school and she's the nastiest freak around. Plus her parents took her to church too.'
Is her parents leading by example though? Are they practicing what they preach? Parents teaching their kids one thing but doing the opposite...all their teaching kids is how to put up a front.
