naw man. i am talking about the wall to wall coverage on cable/morning/evening news networks. a few articles on some news sites is not necessarily traction.
when this is being talked about on the today show or gma it has some traction. internet news articles even on reputable sites are like blinking an eye.

I think kats are focusing on the wrong issue.... this is a good example of how easy it is to make someone an accused rapist without allowing that person to have any way to defend themselves. She might have never said no to Melanie.... but how can Melanie even prove it.

But the thing is what if “She really didn’t say no” and not just about the sexual encounter.. what about the telling her she wouldn’t have sex with her because she has a boyfriend..... what if she didn’t say no period.
Why should you apologize... if she never told you no. I’m not saying it different happened.. but when you aren’t formerly charged with something... how can you prove years later that what happened didn’t happen.
It would be different if this happened and Timothy called the police or contacted her boyfriend or a family member... at least someone to collaborate it. If she posted a date.. you could probably go look at her tweet or facebook history to see if there was a change. But the way it is right now.... Melanie is getting hit with the court of public opinion. I think that is the problem with culture we are in right now.
This exact same scenario could happen to any of us.
