MEGAN THE STALLION SUING HER LABEL

I don’t understand why jigga would wanna get involve with a chick thats already showing disloyalty she go realize that she can get a better deal someday somewhere better than what jigga is offering and she’s gonna bounce again
We understand the cycle but first check the character of these people.
And this jprince and jigga beef been brewing for a while almost like he taking their bitches and you know bitches are always niggaz downfall smh
A bitch is only loyal till she ain’t.
the bitch is choosing up. You know the name of the game.
Having only one is so close to having none.

Smfh the fact this still happens in the social media age is only her fault. You got niggas getting rich just posting YouTube videos and selling independently. This is her fault. Have your lawyer read the contract . No sympathy . Niggas don’t read shit. No excuse for this shit in 2020. The most basic person knows the music industry is shady and cut throat yet she falls for this?!?!? NO TEARS

In all honesty what choice do you have when your just starting. But once you gEt value negotiations should be addressed.

Aye cardi ditched her old manager. Ain’t nobody crying about that. They ain’t here to stay they here to pay. Man up

They have lawyers who specialize in just music industry contracts take out a loan to afford one if you can’t afford it initially. Pay off the loan once you secure your money. People are just bad at business

She never left 1501 Entertainment bro. She just signed a management deal with Roc Nation. And she’s not trying to leave now, she’s just trying to renegotiate her contract. How is that showing disloyalty?
I gave you a salary(contract), you agreed, now you want a raise in the middle of a term

You know how many Niccas I know took out a high interest car loan base in how much they could afford a month and end up paying three times the cars worth. Desperation.

Why the hell would I want to stay in a contract that is no longer beneficial to my career? As time moves along things will change and with that change we may need to renegotiate the terms of our agreement. That’s not beyond the realm of thinking.
Because someone took a chance on you. Some people just do not understand business and investment. There are a million rappers, only a few make it. So, there are literally thousands of rappers walking around with 10k or more in there pocket who will never blow.

So, a company takes a stripper or bum ass drug dealer and says " I will try to get you on. Until then, here is some money and I will front the bill for the studio and the producers. But, if you make it, you have to pay the loan back. In addition, if you make it we split the profits 60:40."

If you like the deal, take it. If not, step. This shit is just frustrating to read. Same story over and over.

"My bad, I didnt read my contract. Can we have a do over and could you give me more money which means you earn less money?"

:smh::smh::smh::smh:

Theres something called "term" bro that you have agreed to
If she has served her terms then okay. But everything else
Is bad business

Term = time and obligation

"Or picture me with a deal
Picture me getting pigeon fed

Can't picture me getting Meg'd
Them contract getting read"

My god I'm so attracted to that chick. Bitch is sexy as fuck and thick as hell.     :hulksmash2:

You're right. Cats getting paid off YouTube/Twitch. How the fuck are labels still hustling?

I guess it's still about pimping radio, because 107.9 up in Cleveland plays about 6-8 songs. It's definitely like the fix is in of who gets airtime.

Bruh..renegotiationing of a contract happens all the time. It's not like they took a chance and failed. They took a chance and succeeded.
So now one ask for a better equitable deal.

Equitable deal? So, the deal is equitable if the artist is not making money. But, if the artist is making money then it is no longer equitable?

So, hypothetically, if she didnt make it, like many of the others who dont, should companies take the artists to court to pay for unpaid studio time, producers, photos, wardrobe, travel, promotion, etc? By your logic, they should.

You are right, people have the ability to renegotiate agreements. However, having the ability does not make the action justified.

Cardi is still signed to his label
my guess is she will eventually pay to settle his suit over her management fees / %
Are you talking about that dude shaft. I thought That was a manager deal he sued her over for signing to qc management

You’re making excuses . If you get your contract right you can pay that lump sum off before major interest payments. SOFI gives low interest loans with no questions asked you can get like 10-20k for 6%

Money blinds these artist from what they are signing, instead of reading and fully understand what they are signing and in all cases signing away to these shady as MF's. #1 rule music companies are not your friend

I got a 6% loan. I’m talking bout some dudes i know wit the fuked up credit taking whatever they can get. I works in my credit 1 year before I applied knowing this. So I’m just saying. It happens. Ain’t happening to me but I see it happen often.
same idea wit a recording contract. If you get a fanbase together ahead of time you have the leverage to request the best contract as opposed to coming with no preparation.
