Mega Millions is at 237 MILLION

1st: if you dont already have one, get a lawyer.

2nd: have him set up a BLIND TRUST, or other suitable corporation. nobody needs to know its YOU who won.

3rd: always take the annual payments. 90% of people who get lump sums burn through it like the sun was in their pocket. if you get 30 payments and fuck up the firs few, you got 27 more chances AND YEARS to get it right. somewhere between year 1 and 30 you should've gotten some sense.

4th: take your time, look around, find people who can help you make good tax shelter, savings and spending plans.

if i won no onw would EVER know, cause i wouldnt be outlandish with mine.

I would take the lump sum because if you die after the 3rd payment the lottery gets to keep the rest of the money. You can't pass it on to relatives or even your wife. If you die that's it.

Nah, it's not true. They only do that in "win for life".

Here's the rule in my state:

Q. In the event that an annuity jackpot winner passes away before collecting an entire jackpot prize, what happens to the remaining prize money?

A. Remaining payments would continue to be paid to the winner's estate in annual installments.

you got some bad info.

What happens to my annuity if I die?
A lottery prize is just like any other asset. You can pass any remaining annuity payments on to your heirs or to anyone else.

Invest that shit into somethin to keep turning over and kick back off the interest, I would like to open up my own shop(Mechanic)...

  1. get a lawyer
  2. buy a new house for my immediate family
  3. buy a house for my aunt
  4. buy a condo in hawaii
  5. invest the rest of the money
  6. buy a bugatti for my only outlandish splurge

I would work part time for pocket change.

I played a ticket today not knowing that shit....if I win I'm be a evil bastid

Grow up. I really hope ur not 26 or older. It's sad to see people older than I am thinking this way. There's enough nonsense like that in the 18-25 age bracket, if you're older than that and thinking this way you need to reconsider your life.

My bad. I'll delete the post.

If I hit it, it would be time to trade up:D

I would just ball the fuck out honestly. Taking the cash route should at least net you 100 mil after taxes. They is more then enough for me to just ball out and not give a fuck til i die. I would put about 15 mill away for my kids or whatever. Put about 20 mill in the bank and cop that interest. Give my parents a cool 5 mill each. Give my 2 brothers 3 mill each. And then the rest me and the boo are chilling on a cruise around the world!

Im only playing 5$ fuck it.

the higher it is the lower the odds are of you winning. so right now the chance of you winning are 0.238432585923842472384782493829... blah blah just stating lol. I used to do pools with my job but they always wait till it's high. you have a better chance when it's low, even tho it's still like 1 in 0.233323432135323 lol.

I'd help several ppl that I know anonymously, set up organizations to help these kids in Baltimore then I'd move abroad, France, Brazil or South Africa maybe all three. Asia too, I'd have my hand all up in BRIC.. Definitely invest.

Nobody but my immediate family would know, I would swear them to secrecy. Even if I started seeing someone, he'd never know, I'd set up a front of some sort. I wouldn't be outrageous. I would have very nice things but not 20+ cars in some garage and a mansion.

I dont understand these shows with these lottery winners that burn through the money in less than five years. I don't understand people who win and decide to take up drugs and deviant behavior. I watched those lottery curse shows, people do dumb stuff.

I'm sure we will hear about some 90 year old white man or woman winning this.

C/S Young people regardless of the age for some reason never when very big....:smh::smh::smh::smh:

They "minus well" just give it to the old cacs and stop having all us poor black folk waste our time with it...

I wouldn't invest a thing. I would take the cash option (150,000,000), live off the interest. Set my kids up for college. PAY OFF ALL OF ME AND MY WIFE"S DEBT! Move into a Condo or a House. I know 2 things I would buy.....
