Meek Mill Judge Rules He Violated Probation ... Mulls Jail Time

1217-meek-mill-tmz-4.jpg

Meek Mill broke down on the stand ... pleading to the judge he's no gangsta, but it didn't sway her -- she found he had violated probation.

Meek testified in Philly for more than an hour, and during the testimony he got emotional a few times. Once, while describing how much it hurt not being able to go see his mom in NJ after she had surgery. All Meek's out-of-state travel has to be approved under terms of his probation.

He also apologized to the D.A. for calling her a "bitch" in his song, "The Ride."

But he really choked up when he addressed the judge directly, saying ... "I'm not a gangsta. I'm not a criminal." He added, "I have my queen, Nicki [Minaj] now. I'm trying to do better and feel like I can be the best rapper out there."

Judge Brinkley ruled he was in "technical violation" but didn't decide his punishment yet. She set sentencing for February and said Meek cannot leave a 5 county area around Philly before then.

One lighter moment in the courtroom came when Meek's attorney asked him to talk about his "nomination" for his song on the "Creed" soundtrack. The D.A. quickly interrupted and said, "He's in consideration! He's not nominated." Several people in the court reacted out loud, including one who yelled, "Hater!"

FROM ANOTHER BOARD:
Y'all do know in order to violate probation that means you committed a crime to begin with right? So why are we suppose to feel sorry when he clearly broke the law? Y'all use the race card for anything when this is clear cut:

1. He was convicted of a crime
2. Violated parole for said crime once ALREADY
3. Gave water as a urine sample
4. Violated the rules of his probation AGAIN by traveling without permission

He does not respect the law. People that do not respect the law get punished accordingly. Again he is on probation because he originally committed a crime, this isn't a innocent Black man being done any injustice by the system.

Safaree right now

i don't like Meek but damn man this is fucked up you can tell they are going to make a example outta his black ass.

When you are on paper you have to be approved to leave the jurisdiction. Why do high profile people that get their picture taken whenever they show up think they can just leave and nobody will know ?

I take no joy in a brother going/potentially going to jail but when, after being put in such a blessed and fortunate situation, you still carry on acting ignorant and negative I find it hard to be sympathetic.

If you have no problem standing in front of a white judge and humbling yourself enough to admit your not a gangster in order to save yourself why not do the same in an effort to not only benefit you but countless others who follow you simply because its the right thing to do?

Gotta agree on that too. His Instagram is full of some of the most insecure, coonish shit I have ever seen

The words "best rapper" would never have been a part of my verbiage in the court room. Musical artist maybe, but never rapper. Too much apologizing and crying, they love that shit. Just show a plan that you will execute to do better, and apologize saying you thought an assistant had taken care of everything for you but didn't.

The internets won't let him walk that "I'm not a gangster" line back.

It's going to take a musical run the like of a mid-70's Stevie or Marvin to make people forget about Meek's 2015, and I honestly don't think he has that level of music inside of him.

Say word. This dumbass really did that.

I cant even understand the fucking thought process behind that....he think he is some criminal mastermind that would fool a chemical analysis?

Chris should of shared that rant for when he heard about the Bama police department planting drugs on innocent brothers.

Chris Brown is another one that should cut out twitter....His PR team are not worth one cent

I'm not even mad at him for that cause Ive seen a bunch of real gangsters do the same but u right the Internet ppl who never got locked up in their lives will be on his ass for that

Its sad cause if he was in court like a few of my young boys middle fingerings the judge mfers would be online like Meek the realest ever but nikkaz like me would be thinking he was the dumbest ever

Bad yr for homeboy smh but like dude said his next yr looking bad also
