By us making up such a large percentage of homicides by people who look just like us, it is reasonable for us to assume assailants are armed. How is going to work and someone jumping a counter putting yourself in a position to be hunted?
His case of self-defense is simple. He doesn't want to get shot, sliced or stabbed. Statistics are on his side. He had every reason to believe a weapon could have been produced at anytime.
Any attack is a threat to your life. Anyone --even a female -- can land a disabling blow. You could get your eye poked out. You could fall and hit your head and die that way. The attacker should be disabled before you attempt to flee.

So true! He woke up that morning waiting, JUST waiting to beat someones ass, sweat was running down his brow, when he saw his opportunity. LOL
He completely stopped at 44 seconds in. He took both hands off the rod. and stood over them. At 39 secs they were both down. And he was advancing. His body didn't jar. So they weren't hitting him back. His body showed no movement other than advancing. The short 1 had been on the ground from 39 and received 2 hits while on the ground.
Where was the knife? Where was the gun? If the short 1 had a weapon, he went to the other 1 in black. He hit her again at 45. He hit her twice. Where was her knife and gun? The short 1 still hadn't gotten up. That wasn't plenty of time to pull your knife gun? Trying to get up? She was probably laying on the ground bleeding. Where was the knife gun?
At 48 the other employee tried to stop him. He was standing over the short 1. At 50. He completely stops. Stands up straight. And looks out into the main room of the restaurant. Still no knife gun. 4 seconds pass and he's back to hitting the other 1. So that's 2 times he could've stopped doing it.
Where were the vicious bulldaggers knives and guns? He didn't get hit but 1 time the initial slap. His body didn't move when it was visible from any other force. Meaning nobody was hitting him. kicking him, biting him.
If they had knives and guns drawn out to be getting beaten like that why didn't the other employees who were looking down at the women move? Nobody said gun. Nobody said knife. They moved out of the way of him swinging his mighty rod. Not from the women on the floor.

This video isn't a good example of abuse. Dude could simply walk away from her, instead he's standing there taking (so either he likes it or he's afraid of her) I can't tell.
Now if he was walking down the street minding his business and this women attacked him, then by all means defend himself.

If you can't run away and are forced to fight, you make sure your attacker is beaten into total submission.
That's the only time one may be truly safe.

Oh, I never saw the question, I've been in and out on the thread until today. To answer your question -"I'm against people hitting/beating people". The lesson we ALL people need to learn is you keep your hands to yourself. You can't attack someone and then think, your gender will protect you. We live in violent times and some people will take your ass to task no matter what your gender is.
I abhor violence of any kind and will avoid it at all turns, but If I'm attacked though, I don't give a shit if you a frog, dog, female, nigga, dyke at that point, I'm kicking ass. You can judge me all you want, I'm not taking physical damage i.e. scars (that I have to live with) because of some cooked up code that others want me to live by.
