Problem is, people take municipal, state, and federal laws as the divine truth which leaves no gray area for situations like the one in question. In a pure morality sense, he was completely justified with his response because when you're under attack everything becomes about self-preservation. If you were in the jungle and a lion attacked you would you beat it to the point that you could get away safely or would you beat it until it could no longer attack? If you take option 1 you are giving the lion the opportunity to get back up and continue its attack which puts you back on defense. You try to paint it out like we're trying to look for an excuse to hit women but in reality you're just trying to justify the mindstate that women can hit men with no consequence. You're the true problem...if those women kept their hands to themselves there would be no video.

2 on 1. I don't understand what the law expected him to do? They had no right to put their hands on him. THEY jumped the counter, THEY pursued the fight. They only look like victims now because they got handled.

but ya dude was excessive...as I watch this vid for the 20th time...dude could have walked/ran away or w/e after he got the 1st few hits in and they both hit the ground...he coulda stepped over them as he beat them 1-2 times and just made a getaway and that might have got him off the hook...I totally understand his position tho...easier for me to say that shit from my cpu...it's another thing when ya adrenaline got you

I think it was self-defense in the beginning. But he went overboard. The only thing is, I can't totally blame him, because he's been to prison; that only adds onto the amount of savageness he'll use to survive. Sometimes, I think we forget that self preservation is the first rule of life. I'm not at all saying he shouldn't be punished for going overboard. But since his violent pass has already & will mos def come into play again, they need to also acknowledge the fact that he spent 10+ years in a zoo. The only zoo where they don't keep the animals separate. I think that once they sentence him, they should also sentence the females, then deduct whatever they get from his sentence. Yea he should see some jail time, or maybe have a mental evaluation. That might actually do somen that resembles rehabilitation; we know damn well prison didn't. If this & the shooting incident are the only two blemishes they can bring up, they really shouldn't let the old one come into play at all. But they always do that to us.
