I don't know who's claiming whether he signed it in person but fax machines were in use back then. Not saying that actually happened but I've moved on from litigating the legitimacy of his will. I'm not the one in the opinion that his family is on some greedy shit. I just think they're fighting a losing fight. Mike wasn't fucking with them when he was alive so its easy for me to accept that he wouldn't be fucking with them after death. His made sure his kids are taken care of. How can I get mad at that?
you have to be present in the location that you declare in the signature. if he was in New York he should have listed New York and also had a Notary Public present for verification purposes. in the scenario you proposed that particular Will would be null and void and the will would revert to the last officially recognized document.
