That's how rumors and bullshit get started. Taking bits and pieces of what someone said, and/or not explaining the full context of the comments can make it seem like Person A was "going at" Person B. Shit is crazy...
Not a fan of P's music, but I can't knock his views, props.

I have a whole new respect for P now. I had to pause the interview for a little while, but I'm on part 2 now. Man, that cat is dropping knowledge. This is the kind of shit everyone needs to hear and put in to action. It's OK to get wiser as you age. That's what's supposed to happen. Props to Master Percy for kicking it like that...

P was dropping knowledge back in the mid to late 90's when he was on top. Folks just couldn't see past his type of music. Folks always thought guys like KRS or Chuck D were deep, but because of P's image they never took him seriously.
But with all the moves he made back then independently and all the money he made, he had to be a sharp brother to do that. I think P is the legend that nobody talks about. They talk about Puff and Russel, but what P did was unprecedented, imo. He was blowing up cats like Kane and Abel and Mr. Serv-on on the billboard charts off the strength of the No Limit name alone. And let's not forget how he saved both Mystikal's and Snoop's career (and maybe Snoop's life) from being stranded and in limbo on the labels they were on before they got to No Limit. His hustle game was on point.

Thanks for posting this.MasterP had to experience this first hand before he himself even saw the bigger picture and all the things he went through is just a prime example that the wealth/entertainment/fame doesn't come with a manual or some adviser to tell you all the right moves to make.
